Why Magufuli administration misses the point on Government splurge

Lack of transparency in judicial appointments, promotions and disciplinary procedure in every way you peek at it stoke and foment official graft in top echelons of power

In fact, I may add this gesture no matter how avuncular it may bamboozles us, it is a drop in the ocean given the rampant and pervasiveness extent and nature of judicial venal conducts gone unpunished

The Tanga R.C is a JK holdover and the new "boy on the block" is more than eager to create a vacancy and reward one of his own in his long and elaborate list of sycophants and bootlickers.

It wasn't stated in vain "birds of a feather flock together..." And this JK favourite friend is no longer presidential appointee material of considerable aspiration any longer!

I cannot tie this sacrificial lamb with any wrongdoing to narrate why he was quietly pushed to hang his gloves. My crystal ball leads me to suspect the victim of this ruthless purge would have preferred to retire under age compulsory retirement, and not court this kind of uncalled for scrutiny.

I know claims and counterclaims relating to his obnoxious carefree and lackadaisical composure may have quickened the trigger happy president to get him out of the way...sooner rather than later.

His subdued composure is accused of failing to reflect and uphold the mantra of "HAPA KAZI TU!" whatever that means!

I will be very pleasantly surprised a member of CCM national council is not patted in the back to inherit the r.c docket

After all, it will be a fulfilment of a promise to placate senior party cadres with top government jobs

CCM devoid of an ideology to unite its members for national causes, government largesse has become the largest source of soliciting and securing wavering and elusive loyalty from its most luminaries cadres.

These appointments have very little to do with merits but everything to do with rewarding sycophancy on the altar of punishing rebellion or dissent within party ranks

When the dust settles, it is control not leadership is lauded!

Magufuli deserves a pat on the back for rebuking TBC1 on low viewership

TBC1 claims under resource explains their current predicament but the president was spot on to remind them biased reportage is behind their low viewership and less revenue generation

Fair reportage and abiding to journalistic high standards not cash will make TBC1 claw back unto our living rooms.

What we need is investigative journalism more than reportage one that adulate the ruling class more and turn a blind eye to the negative news

But Magufuli still misses the point on this too!

Independent reportage at TBC1 demands security of tenure to the employees there

We still remember TBC1 top executives have been hounded out of office unceremoniously when turning the screws against the excess of the regime.

While we applaud the verbosity but we still urge legislative efforts to secure security of tenure for TBC staff
