Judge Mutungi is a ccm appointee and is more concerned protecting his tummy than protecting the constitutionalism behind our fledgling democracy.

He needs to come out firing all four if not eight cylinders in defence of our constitutional rights to freedoms of expression and association and rebukes his bosses for polarizing this nation unnecessary

What law when it is not respected? What I see is backsliding unto lawlessness.
Ask anyone who is mentally normal if he or she prefers the right to participate in demonstration without approval or just being imposed and commanded by those political brokers. The answer would be evident.

"Polisi jamii" is now rotting in a shallow grave. Police will find it harder to enforce the rule of law as it permits itself to regiment rulers whose legitimacy to govern is the dock.

You have a fundamental lack of understanding for Police and its functions in the Tanzania.

I am told Jenerali Ulimwengu has been involved in a serious car accident. Being a fierce critic of this draconian regime expect tongue wagging to start in earnest and conspiracy theorists having their flagging careers resuscitated.

But it is worthwhile to remind ourselves Ulimwengu predecessor at the East Africa magazine was murdered closer to his home as he went to purchase some stuff in a close by shop.

You should think is it worthy people being injured and teargassed and them running to their cars? That's what I told you, they have to find their families first.

Constitutional rights include rights to demos and association where does other scenarios come from?

Team UKUTA is really serious if this pinup is anything to go by. Winning the hearts and minds of the youth to any meaningful cause like freedom of expression and association is a battle three quarters conquered.

Mzee Kingunge ought to be berated for his proposals. Those he trust to end this political impasse are totally discredited.
You're brain dead if you can't remember what Warioba said to exactly that yesterday. You say they are discredited as if someone is stopping them from doing so, when in reality they do it privately.

Too much blah blah and bad criticism. Perhaps you should have explained the core assumptions you made when analyzing the election data to conclude that they won election by 62%.

What are these? There's no substance emotional argument you made at the end of your comments. You can't argue with logic, only picture and story tale.

He's a presidential appointee. What's wrong with him constitutionally?

You still don't get it I never concluded anything but only raising serious concerns nursed by Chadema about a rigged election.

I thought in ccm there still remnants holding some grey matter but now I must admit how naive I have always been...

Ccm clampdown on the opposition is a blessing in disguise. The more brutal the regime becomes the more sympathy the opposition draws from the public and from development partners.

It will take the USA and other development partners and the greedy Chinese in particular before ccm hold on power begins to crumble in similitude of a cookie gone crunchy.

The first step is to close all the spigots of donor money which are subsidizing massive official graft behind the arrogance we see on the conduct of the rulers of the day
