Given the unchecked powers enjoyed by political party bosses leadership becomes more a case of who is more lackey than the rest

Hypocritical loyalty assumes a qualification to public office than any other

But hypocrites are never good leaders

Majority of African leadership is hypocritical not by choice but by survival necessity

For a good leader is nonconformist and independent judge those mich much relevant attributes poses a grave danger to the survival of the defacto party leaders

So as a result though oaths sworn are in deference to the constitution increasingly modus operandi inform concerted effort to macerate or even eviscerate the constitution just to accommodate the whims of political party bosses

Once the constitution is at the beck and call of party boss expect the rule of law and good governance thrown at peril of political machinations

Unless the leverage imposed in our constitution is ease immensely we have no path to meaningful development

We will continue pleasing aliens for the morsel puked on our yawning mouths

So to begin this exercise it calls for revocation of multiparty democracy and replaced this nation is for the democracy of the people of EAC

Once this democratic principle is enshrined in our constitution the next step is to enshrine the rights of the people as follows

No conditionality to independent candidates unaffiliated with political parties

The fight to enshrine the rights of an independent candidate has been fought by the establishment for very long indicating the demise of political parties power in our democracy

The establishment intense hostility to independent candidates indicate if we do have them we have significantly reduce our bondage to political parties

It's noteworthy we are bandying together because they conduct is the same regardless of whether they are in power or not

Of recent the ruling party CCM CCM dismissed its member one Bernard Membe simply he just expressed his intent to challenge for CCM presidential nomination ticket

We see no political party interest but party boss personal interests to purge those who are questioning his ability to run the nation

Vying for position though a democratic health habit but incumbency consider it lack of respect
