Why Magufuli administration misses the point on Government splurge

My argument has always been changing manpower infamously as kutumbua majipu without addressing the loopholes in our legal framework that churned out those painful cysts is an exercise in futility

So we need to direct ourselves in institutional reforms more than manpower and political parties overhaul because it is the working environment which lacks the four pillars of development

The pillars of development are democracy, transparency, accountability and participation

Where few individuals hold more than one position they are reducing the ability for the rest to participate

If an MP holds a cabinet position he is denying other another competent individual from performing the functions of a minister

If a president is chairperson of a political party he is denying another competent person from holding either of the positions

Participation also suffers when RC and DC who are also MPs

Participation also take a hit when members of the judiciary holds executive positions in the government such as chairperson of NEC, Political parties or even the Law Reform or even the Human rights commission etc etc

The corruption of violations of the doctrine of separation of power are multifarious

First, those violations legalize conspiracies of pay to play

This is a very delicate subject

Because to drive points an required to cite specific case studies of pay to play

But naming names has one drawback

The affected parties will feel unfairly targeted

And their natural justice to defend themselves violated
