As a screenshots below show.
It has to be noted many lodges in the Masai mara are offering discounts up to 68% of the normal rates plus going extra by offering full and all board inclusiveness at this tourism's high season. The situation is different in the Serengeti where a bed goes at an average price 3X that of Masai mara.

we have 20 five stars in mara while u have 4 in serengeti..serengeti is biggeru have many lodges but of mabanda ya mbwa quality! A reason u get peanuts in comparison to us. Again urban tourism is paged on those cheap value tourism product. Nothing to brag about!
