Why should TANAPA block Kenya's tour companies that spread lies on Mt Kilimanjaro visibility from accessing her attractions
Following the outbreak of COVID19 pandemic and its ensuring lock down, it has come to the alert of many that the social media is abuzz with some meme that at the begining was a sort of entertainment cum fun but then took another turn into seeking to distort the reality on the where abouts of tourism attractions that are World reknowned and envied by neighboring countries.
At first the meme oughted to be a sort of jokes to lift the low spirits high during this time of a mandatory lockdown with a strictly observance of social distancing. But to a surprise of many that frenzy trend took another dimension and out unknown self interests known to themselves, licenced tour companies have entered the fray n jumped in the bandwagon to adopt these simple absurd, lousy, sarcastically memes from social media to be their mantle of their marketing strategy on their mainstream media and some even dared to even post the memes on their official webpages.
That's wrong and has ill motives conotations to countries that uses million of US$ to market her natural attractions only to succumb to social media gimmicks that unfortunately have been adopted by unscrupulous tour companies attempting to reap what not belongs to them through deceitful means that victimize the will be tourists.
The heist has to stop
Tanzania being a victim of these false lies on the internet should adddress the issue that if not taken seriously might have adverse effects on her tourism future. Since many of these Kenyan tour companies also operate in Tazania, i suggest TANAPA through ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism should clamp on such tour companies and hold them accountable for resorting to create confusion and deceit tourists using her tourism attractions.
I suggest a withdrawal of operation licence to all those Kenyan tour companies operating within Tanzania and yet spreading lies on Mt Kilimanjaro be it on the whereabouts or the eyesight's visibility of the Mountains will do justice and bring sanity back to normal.

As a proof of the daylight deception of an eyesight's visibility of Mt Kilimanjaro from Nairobi by our greedy neighbors from Northeast, i have attached the following images from NASA taken in 2000.
Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania
JPEG
Mount Kilimanjaro (Kilima Njaro or “shining mountain” in Swahili), the highest point in Africa, reaches 5,895 meters (19,340 feet) above sea level, tall enough to maintain a permanent snow cap despite being just 330 kilometers (210 miles) south of the equator. It is the tallest free-standing mountain on the Earth’s land surface, rising about 4,600 meters (15,000 feet) above the surrounding plain. Kilimanjaro is a triple volcano (has three peaks) that last erupted perhaps more than 100,000 years ago but still exudes volcanic gases. It is accompanied by about 20 other nearby volcanoes, some of which are seen to the west (left) in the large image, prominently including Mount Meru, which last erupted only about a century ago. The volcanic mountain slopes are commonly fertile and support thick forests, while the much drier grasslands of the plains are home to elephants, lions, and other savanna wildlife.
This 3-D perspective view was generated using topographic data from the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM), a Landsat 7 satellite image, and a false sky. Topographic expression is vertically exaggerated two times.
Size (large image): View width 124 kilometers (77 miles), View distance 166 kilometers (103 miles)
Location: 3 degrees South latitude, 37 degrees East longitude
Orientation: View North, 2 degrees below horizontal, 2 times vertical exaggeration
Image Data: Landsat Bands 3, 2+4, 1 as red, green, blue, respectively.
Original Data Resolution: SRTM 1 arc-second (30 meters or 98 feet), Thematic Mapper 30 meters (98 feet)
Date Acquired: February 2000 (SRTM); February 21, 2000 (Landsat 7)

MY TAKE I
at a View distance of 166 km with false sky plus topographic expression vertically exaggerated 2 times NASA managed to get this Landsat 7 image from Shuttle Radar Topography Mission! Yet a Kenyan can get this eyesight image from Nairobi a distance of 206 km! Aisee Wakenya ni wana ujinga mwingi! Hii desperation ni ya kupitiliza akili timamu!
MY TAKE II
I advice TANAPA to see a way to block all tour companies that use ther pages to deceive tourists and public at large on the visibility of Mt Kilimanjaro from accessing any of her tourists attractions!
