Why Tanzanian media tell white lies about Economic growth.

We have been fed with lies of how Tanzanian economy has been growing at 7% and above for the last 15 years yet the real growth is non existent. The populace remains poor and go without a meal a day. Well, Ladies and gentlemen the real growth as by December 2017 is 0%.....
I want to end with two questions:

First: Bank of Tanzania figures tell us that money supply growth is down, imports are down, credit to the private sector is sharply down, and food prices remain high. What does this tell us about the state of the Tanzanian economy?

And second: an opposition politician is arrested and charged for pointing to what he describes as significant anomalies in official data. What does this tell us about the state of Tanzanian democracy?

Not at all But we have as many Danganyikan beggars on the streets of our towns and cities even the far flung towns.... I guess they have come to find work or so I think........... Show me one Kenyan beggar on the street of your towns even the closest to Kenya, Arusha and I will feed your dog for a whole year

Si unajua kutofautisha economic growth na economic development au ni new terms [emoji19] [emoji19] [emoji19] [emoji19] [emoji19] [emoji19]

By the way kwa miaka iliyopita hali ilikuwa nzuri maana uchumi ulikuwa ukiongezeka katika increasing rates lakini kwa sasa ni katika decreasing rate.. i know yo smart na ukiondoa hiyo Dick measuring contest ni lazma utakuwa unaelewa kila kitu

It depend na media stations unazopendelea maana kuna entertainment based kama clouds na zile informative kama Itv, capital etc..... so its more of yo own preference bro

Siyo TZ media bali ni reports za IMF na World Bank ndiyo husema hivyo na media zetu huchukua hizo datas na kuzichapisha, hivyo ulipaswa upingane na IMF na World Bank na siyo media!
