Wizara hiyo pia ilionekana kuwa imetumia shillingi milioni 1 za Kikenya kwa safari licha ya ugawaji wa Shilingi 440, 000 za Kikenya.

Education Cabinet Secretary, Amina Mohammed, has found herself in a corruption scandal involving computers that President Uhuru Kenyatta bought for secondary schools.
According to a new report by Auditor General Edward Ouko, the Ministry is unable to account for 2,000 computers that were supposed to be delivered to various public secondary schools.
According to audit report, Amina Mohammed-led Ministry procured 3,320 computers for secondary schools but only managed to deliver 1, 107 computers.
The Auditor said the missing computers were worth a whopping sh153 million.
“The list of serialized computers made available for audit review reflected 1, 107 computers only,”
“resulting in a variance of 2,213 computers worth sh153.8 million, which had not been accounted for at the time of this report,” the audit report reads.
The Ministry was also found to have embezzled sh1 million on trips despite the allocation of sh 440, 000.
