Wonjun Choi, VP na Head wa Samsung Mobile Experience (MX) Division, amepandishwa cheo kuwa President wa MX Development Division. Samsung ilitangaza mabadiliko haya Machi 4, na Choi ataendelea kuongoza MX Division baada ya kupandishwa cheo.
Kama President, Choi anatarajiwa kuleta mafanikio zaidi kwa kitengo cha simu za mkononi cha Samsung. Kwa mujibu wa desturi ya kampuni, anatarajiwa kuchukua nafasi ya MX Head TM Roh, ambaye hivi karibuni alijiunga na Bodi.
Choi amefanya kazi kwa karibu na TM Roh kusukuma mbele teknolojia ya AI kwenye simu. Ushiriki wake katika mafanikio ya Samsung Galaxy S24 na S25 umemsaidia kupata cheo hiki.
Kabla ya kujiunga na Samsung mwaka 2016, alifanya kazi katika Qualcomm na Amicus Wireless. Desemba 2022, alipewa jukumu la kuongoza MX Division.

Wonjun Choi, the VP and head of Samsung Mobile Experience (MX) Division, has been promoted to President of the MX (Mobile Experience) Development Division. On March 4, Samsung announced this change, and Choi will continue to lead the MX Division after his promotion.
As president, Choi is expected to lead Samsung’s mobile division to even more success in the future. As per Samsung’s tradition, VP Choi will soon succeed the existing MX Head TM Roh, who was recently retained to the Board.
Choi has worked closely with TM Roh, the former president, to push forward AI smartphone technology. His work on the successful Samsung Galaxy S24 and S25 series smartphones helped him get this promotion.
