PICS: Air Tanzania Re-Launches Harare-Dar es Salaam Route

Air Tanzania Friday relaunched the Harare- Dar es Salaam route with the airline plying the route three times a week (Tuesday, Friday and Sunday).

The new initiative is meant to ease transport woes between Zimbabwe and Tanzania.

The new airline will service the route three times a week (Tuesday, Friday and Sunday) with an Airbus A220-300 aircraft, one of one-two in Africa and also the newest addition to the Airbus family of commercial aircraft.

Kukamilika kwa viwanda hivi kunategemea kutoa ajira za moja kwa moja zaidi ya 3,000 na kuingiza jumla ya faida ya shilling billion 300 kwa mwaka huku 40% ya ngozi na bidhaa za viwanda hivi zikiuzwa nje ya Tanzania.

Wewe Geza Ulole that route is useless(dar-harare),there is nothing left in zimbabwe,zim economy is down to the dumps,tourist who used to flock zim have crossed over to zambia,it would have been logical to ply lusaka or livingstone route due victoria falls.wa bongo mnafurahisha sana😀.wonders shall never cease.

Tz one that route is too dominated by bigger and effecient airlines,what make you think your nascent carrier will stand a chance,For example JKIA is hub for transiting airlines that automatically gives it an edge to such routes,your Airport is not a hub,where will you get the pax from,ama siku hizi wabongo wametarajika na kuwa watalii wakuzuru nchi zingine na kuviacha vivutio vya kwao.
