Hahahaha, who represents Tanzania? Wakenya miaka yote wanekuwa wakiwashambulia Watanzania na viongozi wao toka enzi za Mwalimu Nyerere, huyo ndiye aliyechukiwa na wakenya kupita rais yeyote wa Tanzania.

Kuna mfanyakazi tumempa ajira,anaitwa rais.

Katika MAZURI yote anatuwakilisha sisi maana tumempa kazi na mshahara anapata!

Katika MABAYA yote au liabilities zozote,hatuwakilishi sisi,anajiwakilisha yeye binafsi!

Yaani katika liabilities tunajitenga nae,yeye mwenyewe hiyo liability imsulubishe yeye tu with us isolated!

Binafsi, Nyerere as a leader sina nae tatizo, binafsi namchukia sana kutuletea socialism na upumbavu mwingine wa taifa zembe na watu legelege, basi!
 
You spend years denying that you were LDC but now you want to be congratulated for not being LDC anymore? You can't have it both ways.

It's great that you're finally out of the LDC club. If only we had Somalia Ethiopia, Uganda and DRC in the middle income bracket too. This region would be so much further ahead economically

Rais akishachaguliwa ndio muwakilishi wa nchi ndani na nje ya nchi, analolifanya kama ni zuri sifa inakwenda kwa nchi husika, na kama ni baya pia sifa inakwenda kwa nchi husika. Kwasasa Magufuli ndiye mwenye kuiwakilisha Tanzania, lolote analolifanya ni Tanzania inafanya, sio Magufuli.

#Tanzania is categorised as lower middle income with a per capita GDP of $1,090 according to our Min of Finance. In 2014 we had a per capita GDP of $1,030. So the Government wanted to take 10 years to increase our per capita GDP by $30?

The World Bank has named the United Republic of Tanzania a middle income country. The World Bank updates these classifications on 1 July every year based on GNI (Gross National Income) per capita (the value of a country's final income in a year divided by its population) in US dollars.

Tanzanian President John Pombe Magufuli was pleased to announce the remarkable milestone to the world, revealing that he and his compatriots had envisioned to achieve this by 2025.

As Tanzanians celebrated this majestic achievement, thanks to President Magufuli's hard handedness, their neighbors in Kenya were not a happy lot.

Kenyans on Twitter could not hide their bitterness as they received the unimaginable news that their neighbors in Tanzania had caught up with them.

"We are still a Lower Middle Class Economy and Tanzania has caught up with us just like Ethiopia," wrote Twitter user Abuga Makori.

Others could not hide their disappointment in President Uhuru Kenyatta's adminstration as they reminisced over former President Mwai Kibaki's government which left a thriving economy.

"Kibaki did a tremendous job to the Kenyan economy despite political wrangles from Raila Odinga compared to Uhuru Kenyatta with the handshake," wrote Daisy as she compared Kibaki's challenges to Kenyatta's advantage with his handshake with Odinga that has cooled down the political temperatures.

In a comparison made by the Standard, between Kenyatta's and Kibaki’s two terms in office, Kenyatta's administration has not recorded a consistent score in tax to GDP ratios in seven years. On the other hand, in the same seven years towards the end of former President Kibaki's last term, the increase in tax revenues largely kept up with the growth of the economy.

"He (Kibaki) did something about the economy which President Uhuru has been unable to do," noted Maina Wilson.

As Maina Wilson and others celebrated the heroic former President for his ability to steer the Kenyan economy to the right direction, others took the liberty to wish a quick recovery to the former head of state who is ailing at a city hospital.

"Let us pray for Kibaki, the only President who had the country at heart," wrote one Twitter user Debby

Tatizo rafiki ni kuwa unaquote gazeti za kupanguzia chooni. Hata Kenya tuna gazeti useless kama hizo. Mwandishi wa hiyo article anasema kuwa TZ sio middle income kwa sababu world bank imesema kuwa ni lower middle income. Middle income ni middle income tu ila issue ni kuwa middle income imegawanywa mara mbili lower na upper lakini zote ni middle income. Sasa sijui huwa unasoma hizo takataka kwa nini? Jikite kwenye daily nation na standard newspaper. Hao wengine ni wachumia tumbo na wajinga sana.
