The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP), also known as the Uganda–Tanzania Crude Oil Pipeline (UTCOP), is under construction and intended to transport crude oil from Uganda's oil fields to the Port of Tanga, Tanzania on the Indian Ocean. Once completed, the pipeline will be the longest heated crude oil pipeline in the world. Because of the large scale displacement of communities and wildlife, global environmental groups are protesting its construction and finance.
All along we were made to believe the deal was done.
It appears Total has no money to finance the project, and it's main lenders are all dropping out one by one, thanks to environmental activists in Europe.
Is EACOP facing the same fate as US Keystone pipeline project?

Since the EACOP is gaining momentum, I would like to give my suggestion of having a single thread that will accommodate all matters regarding to development of a project. This will cub the confusion of having a number of threads which talk about EACOP progress. Kindly for your umoja.
