First Class Africa (FCA) is The Premier Provider of African Experience. At First Class Africa, we are a vibrant team who imagine and do things differently. We have re-imagined the African tourism and hospitality delivery model and are seeking 2 Office Managers (Trainees). You will be hired as a trainee (entry level) with a potential for a long-term employment over time.

Additional training will be provided, however a candidate must be energetic, creative, reliable, entrepreneurial, quick learner, trustworthy, customer-centered, highly organized, passionate, self-starter and committed local Tanzanian. First Class Africa is headquartered in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania with an expanded team based in the United States of America (USA).

Location: Dar Es Salaam

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate a broad variety of administrative, operations, sales and business strategy tasks including but not limited to: managing an active calendar of meetings appointments, completing and compiling reports, attending executive meetings, and preparing agendas and minutes
  • Be coachable, take initiatives and possess an insatiable desire to learn
  • Help create and maintain an office environment to produce world class customer experience
  • Assist in providing teammates with the necessary tools, training and information to effectively perform their jobs
  • Email correspondence with clients and potential clients
  • Offering executive support to general manager and company directors by aiding in clerical tasks
  • Working closely with company’s accountant, maintain accounts receivables, accounts payable accounts and cash handling procedures to company standards
  • Research, identify and help address problems and opportunities for the company
  • Support other functional areas and members of the leadership team with special projects as needed
  • Complete and maintain client/prospects logs and prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports
  • Closely coordinate and execute all hospitality services offered by the company
  • Assist in creating & managing detailed safari and hospitality itineraries for discerning clients from start to finish
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management
Minimum Requirements
You are a leader and are extremely detail orientated and aren’t afraid of taking initiative

Robust organizational, people and project management aptitudes

You possess the “Can Do” and “Failure is Not an Option” mindset no matter the challenge ahead of you

You desire to make a very real and quantifiable impact at FCA and the clients we serve and understand your value to a growing team

Working knowledge of digital marketing and a good understanding on how to harness the power of social media platforms to market FCA services

Recognized ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high pressured environment

You do not need someone to show you step-by-step how to solve a problem. You strive for continuous improvement in processes and procedures and never allow things fall through the cracks

Need to be a critical thinker who can analyze situations and make decisions geared toward the company's best interests

You know there’s always room for improvement and are open to constructive feedback. You are also not shy in sharing with the management team your thoughts on how to improve the client experience and company processes

Demonstrated emotional maturity and proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong critical decision-making capability

Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently

Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response

Hold valid Tanzania driver’s license

Must be a driven, confident, fearless personality. Someone who is comfortable around people and has exceptional attention to detail and multi-tasking capabilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Swahili and English

Decent typing speed, experience with Microsoft Office Suite and being familiar with CRMs data base working knowledge.
