FDI - TanzaniaInvest

Foreign Direct Investment inflows to Kenya in 6-year low

And that is 2016 only, now you can count that all the way as far as 2010 or even 2005.
haya sasa jumuisha FDI in the last 5 to 10 years...sasa unanletea ya mwaka moja kwani una matatizo ya ubongo?? 2016 was a year when kenya was preparing for elections...everybody knows that approximately a year before elections investors stay away from Kenya...and remember in 2015 we beat you...so bring FDI for 10 years at least

Toka jana nakuambia pesa inayoletwa Tanzania kwenye FDI ni nyingine kuliko Kenya kwasababu projects zenyewe zina taka pesa nyingine, oil n gas, mineral, logistics etc. Ukisema eti elections imechangia huo sio ukweli, link ya kenya inasema kabisa the trend of downwards FDI in Kenya has been going for more than three years and Kenyatta needs to do something.

You must expose a snake in order to kill it, in Kenya the challenges are open and in the public domain due to relative media freedom and some objectivity. I need you to look at Kenya's challenges and observe what the country is doing to establish solutions., devt countries rose from challenges and problems, which informed their policies and decision making., IPhone 2 is a product of insufficiencies in IPhone 1 and developing needs in technology. This is not the quite case with TZ, because CCM govt paints a rossy picture of the country and yet if you take a trip from Isibania border towards Dar ni balaa! apart from satellite towns, whose outskirts are poor!!

Kama waweza kuandika neno 'Hamjuwi' peke yake then I don't need to read the rest of the sentence. That alone informs me how much matter is in between your ears.

Example Malaysia, China hizi nchi zilitupilia mbali ujinga wa IMF wakafanya Kama wao mataifa makubwa walivyofanya angalia walipo sasa..

I slightly concur with you with regarding of those countries you put as your case study. Yeah, GDP is economical aspect of production values which means if you have big one, your people are generally well off but in other side it can be an illusion. Mind you GDP is just a total entity, it does not tell us clearly production value of each individual, so you may brag to have big GDP but very few people contribute to it in large percentage while the rest majority share it in minimal amount, therefore realistically only few ones in the country will live comfortably. And this is what we see in most developing countries embracing capitalist system, for instance Nigeria has a finer number of billionaires than some of first world countries but it is the same Nigeria whose more than 75% of citizens struggling to afford three meals per day, an average nigerian wakes up daily tries by any means to leave Nigeria for seeking better life somewhere else and they have biggest GDP in the continent!!

I think the only economic aspect we should weigh here is GDP per capita, even potential investors always look at GDP per capita of the respective country before they put their single cent since the disposable income of the societies are well represented through it.

Just you know, the combined Africa GDP is expected to surpass that of the UK in 2020. Africa is rising fast and furious.

Jeff Bezos in the 4th richest country in Africa.

now this is an important factor...inclusivity...but dont forget about GDP per capita as well...it is not accurate but it gives a picture of how rich a country is

mkuu soma sentensi hii niliyoiandika hapo juu tena kisha utafsiri.... it is not accurate but it gives a picture of how rich a country is

The reason Tanzanians are cheap is because they have no skills. Once they get the skills they become just as expensive as the Kenyans. Nini huelewi boss?

If Jeff Bezzos becomes Tanzanian the economy of Tanzania will still be way smaller than Kenya's.
