99% of Fintech funds in East Africa goes to only country.

Oops I must have missed this one.

If Kenya were to reinvent the wheel, I think even Meerkats in Kalahari desert they will know. Lets face it, Kenya is still in on incubator stage with number of hubs, when you see company like Google Microsoft IBM coming to town, they're coming to scout ideas na hopefully one day they will find solutions faces people of particular area or geographical location. Google right now knows Africa internet speed is slow, what can they do, solution is to come up with slimline, fat-free Google. The idea came from Lagos not San Fransisco. MK254 was saying wrote here that he had created a solution using G suite API to integrate with all sort of other service, anyone with same skills can do that. His talking about individuals tech savvy I'm talking about country as whole, does Kenya's hubs holds IP under their name? The answer is No.

kenya is the global leader in mobile money...period...hata sijui mnabisha nini hapa...articles zimejaa kote...Kenya's tech scene can only be matched by Nigeria...wondering why Mark Zuckerberg visited Nigeria and Kenya in 2016?? thats the reason...Facebook has its Africa hqs in SA...tz tech scene kwa Kenya is like comparing a toddler to a mature adult...

I'll give this one for now , even though Ushahidi it still a small company to measure Kenya IT industry. But in IT world, countries with more Intellectual Property (IP) are rank higher. I'm not sure if Kenya own if any IP.?
