shida kubwa ni Afrika tunazaa ovyo ovyo...you find a guy in Turkana with 15 children and no job....how do you expect such a guy to feed all these children leave alone take them to school...then we die of hunger and desert countries come to our aid.....that my friends is a shame...a shame on us as Africans...
The thing is, 0.5% of that 17% can feed the whole east Africa if properly managed.Last time I checked, Kenya's also a desert country, 80% at least. The 17% arable bit hasnt enjoyed adequate rainfall for much of the year past, (forget not about the el nino), resulting in poor harvests.
Boy, this indeed is a country of whiners!
The thing is, 0.5% of that 17% can feed the whole east Africa if properly managed.
Wakenya hivi huko shuleni mlienda kusomea ujinga.?
Well, and why isnt Tanzanai feeding the whole region, with its 80% fertile lands? The thing is, 0.5% of that 17% can feed the whole east Africa if properly managed.

I am a Tanzanian but I disagree with you, a helping hand is not an insult rather a solidarity when USA was hit by katrina in North Carolina it was Germany who brought in the heavy-duty pumps to take out water out of the street but that doesn't mean USA were not capable... Remember no one wins a medal by rejecting help from other good friends so that it can be seen as a sign strength we are Africans we know our problems no birth control plus poor resource mobilization and management just take a chance and ask your self how many dummy projects have been created and what was the outcome? Most of our leaders will whistle that agriculture is the back borne of our economy but when you compare there effort towards modernising it u will score zero.....just Take all East africans out of our country and throw us somewhere in US or UK then bring those white people and let them live here for just 10 years for the resources available they will be in developed East Africa while we will be living in Stagnated US or UK because we have selfish leaders...... I think your article is politically motivated..This is an indictment of the Kenyan leadership. Sometime in 2016 there was a lot of noise being bandied about how Kenya had scored big with the Galana Kulalu irrigation scheme project after a whooping 2.7 billion shilling deal was pumped into it from Israel.
