A Dissertation/Research Project Report Writing Training Workshop 2014
Target Audience: Postgraduate students in higher education institutions, including master's and PhD students.
Dates: 11-16 July 2014.
Time: 16 hrs -22hrs
Location: Dar es Salaam.
Fee: Tshs. 300,000/= per participant covering meals and training materials payable to Central Line Research Associates Ltd., Exim Bank Account No. 0090010746.
Workshop Synopsis: This workshop aims to provide participants with key dissertation/writing skills and strategies for quality and timely production of dissertation, thesis and research project reports. Key content areas include: types of theses/dissertations, requirements and expectations of theses, academic writing style, writing the introduction, title, and abstract, reviewing and writing the literature review, writing about research design and methodology, data analysis, presenting results, writing the discussion and conclusions, and writing preliminary pages.
After the workshop, interested participants will be offered an opportunity, one-on-one meeting with an advisor, to discuss individual's particular or general concerns related to the themes covered during the workshop.
