Father's Day is a day honoring fathers, celebrated on the third Sunday of June in 52 of the world's countries and on other days elsewhere. It complements Mother's Day, the celebration honoring mothers.

As you mark this special day - 21 June 2009, I would wish to dedicate this special poem to YOU FATHERS:


Fathers are called Dad.
Fathers are called Daddy.
Fathers are called Father.
Fathers are called Papa.
Fathers are Love.

Fathers are unselfish.
Fathers are forgiving.
Fathers are busy.
Fathers are fun.
Fathers are Love.

Fathers are givers.
Fathers are comforters.
Fathers are helpers.
Fathers are Love.

Fathers are all these things
wrapped up into one. We have
a day to honor fathers, for all
the wonderful things they've done!!!

Binafsi nipo mbali na dogolasi(mwanangu wa kiume) but nimeongea naye kunako simu,kasema ananipenda sana anataka always niwe baba mzuri kwake,nami nimemwambia nawapenda wote,yeye na mama yake.I'll always be a good daddy to him and a good father to the family...I wish ningekuwepo Bongo niwe naye karibu jamaniiiiiiii

I'm back! It was a scorcher out there today. Triple digit temperatures plus humidity....it was baking.

The day started off by attending church service (me and my cute little munchkin). After church we headed off to the Cheesecake Factory for brunch. It was her treat today (she gets allowance by doing her chores, acting right, and being a good girl - she's seven - so she does have enough money to take daddy out for brunch).

Our day culminated in attending our first father-daughter dance in which we both had a ball. We liked it so much that we vowed to go back again next year.

Now we're back. We're worn out but it was all worth it. Time well spent.

Siku ya Jana ilikuwa nzuri tu, kukumbukia wajibu, na kujisikia fahari kuwa na watoto......hasa katika kipindi hiki ambacho, watu wanawatafuta, wanawakosa, na kuna wengine wanawapata, wanawatupa. Baba muwajibikaji atatunza watoto wa familia yake na wengine wenye kuhitajikama uwezo upo.

Kama wababa tunaopenda uhai, tusishiriki kuangamiza uhai kwa kusaidia utoaji mimba. huo ndio ujumbe wangu kwa siku hii.

How did you make the dads feel special today?

well WoS, for me was lovely, seeing ma husaband takin care of his 2 en ahalf yrs son since morning taking a bath together feed him cuddle him en playing the whole day like two litle boys ....i had to shout for them to come inside for lunch coz they were too busy playing and in the evening we dined out , on our way hom he slept on his dad's lap, well i see them playing together every day but i don know why yesterday i saw them with the different eye en very affectionate, he is the best father......... I love them both very much

Uku msituni niliko mara napokea simu,sikuwa nakumbuka kuwa ni fathers days..mara nasikia daddy....ohh son...anasema leo ni fathers day.Mara mama yake anapokea anasema mwanao na mtindo wake wa kuzima socket zote kabla ya kulala hata kama mnaangalia mpira na wageni inabidi msubiri...ameanza kuacha sijui ndio kakua...

It was good kwa kweli kusikia hilo ila ni ambaye hunipa nguvu kila siku kufanya kazi kwa bidii ale good time nikiwa na nguvu ya kutafuta...akiwa na mama yake.
Mama na mwanangu...nilimazia na kusema nawapenda naomba muda nipumzike ili niweze kwenda night shift.

....MMMmmmm, Father's Day? I told my wife and daughters wakae kando niwaonyeshe enzi zangu za ujana nilipokuwa nakorofisha msosi mwenyewe! Nikasahau kuwa nilikuwa napika wali kipimo cha mtu mmoja tu na sasa nilitakiwa nitengeneze wa mtu kama sita hivi! Ilikuwa Disaster!
Anyway, the laughs I got made my Day, especially when in the end I got a pen, a handkerchief, a pair of sox and single flower from my Mujer de mi Vida for the burnt rice! well...I tried, didnt I??? 😀😀

Natamani kama mwanangu angekuwa ana umri wa kuweza kuongea na kusema! Anyway, nilitumia nafasi hiyo kushinda home baada ya ku cancel ratiba zangu zote. We had good time together, nikagundua jambo moja "ni muda mrefu umepita tangu tuwe pamoja watatu kwa mchana kutwa". Nafurahi na kushukuru kuwa baba.
