A Wake Up Call to Nominate Dr. Ndugulile Ndugulile!
I’m pleased to respectfully and assuredly to finger-point Dr. Faustine Engelbert Ndugulile a Tanzanian former deputy health minister, and previous minister for Communication and ICT contending for nomination into the Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) African Regional as an ideal contender the region has!
Dr. Ndugulile’s presentation before the Regional Committee of WHO African Region on its 73th nomination interview session was absolutely splendor and that revealed a multiple of rich experience as technocrat, politician and parliamentarian, his enthusiastic passion to save the organization with a transformative kind of leadership that embrace political engagement and diplomacy for accessible, equitable and sustainable health system, and surely healthier Africa!
The ongoing transformation at WHO AFRO needs Dr. Ndugulile’s wide range of technical, policy and legislative experiences embedded in four priority areas of enabling the right path, enabling readiness for next pandemic, enabling health-political mainstreaming and enabling responsive WHO African region. Coupled with previous successful health sector improved performance in Tanzania, Rwanda, Mozambique, Angola and South Africa I can't think of another person currently deserving the position more than Dr. Ndugulile!
At this moment in time I’m confidently pleading for a wakeup call to WHO AFRO Member states to nominate Dr. Ndugulile as next Director with his vision of creating a continent in which individuals flourishes with optimal health and wellbeing supported with accessible, equitable and sustainable healthcare systems.
His ability and zeal to relentlessly create a solutions oriented organization, desire to find innovative ways to improve health and well-being optimally to the continent and ambition to mobilize political, financial and technical resource from member state and global partners to accelerate the control and elimination of Neglected Tropical Diseases to every African country is strengthening my confidence to request member countries to vote for nomination of Dr. Ndugulile as our health triumph card!
Come on, member states on 74th session of the Regional Committee of WHO African scheduled from 26 – 30 August 2024 cast your vote to nominate Dr Faustine Ndungulile as the next Regional Director he’s capable of taking WHO AFRO to desirable level!
Is he the right candidate? Of course he is.has he got the right qualifications?No doubt about it.Is he ready for the position? Yes he is ready and it is now.is he experienced? Yes he has enough experience. Can he deliver what the world expect ? Yes he can, yes he can, yes he can and Ndungulile is our next WHO Director.
