Acheni kusifu Kenya kiholela, angalieni balaa hii ilioje!!!!

Today, Kenyans are as hopeless as Tanzanians are; the only difference is that them [Kenyans] have been in that situation for very very long time and learned how to survive in the meanest possible way.. Majority of Tanzanians will acquire that knowledge too in due time and even become more meanest than Kenyans!

BTW:
Why Tanzanians [i.e, Engineers, Doctors, Profs, Entrepreneures] go for job hunting in the Southern African countries [i.e., Botswana, Namibia, S.A] and not in the other EAC countries? On the other hand Kenyans go for job hunting in TZ?. Do you still belive that Tanzanians cant compete with foreigners in the job market?...:ban:

There is one thing that we seem to be missing on this discourse, the most important IMHO.
The fact that all these revelations are openly being printed and documented for all to see.

If nothing else it serves to show how, now unlike in the days gone, Kenyan people feel confident in their safety and hopeful enough in the current system to blow the whistle.

This is one of the best catalysts for the fight against corruption. It not only avails witnesses but also avails the necessary information for the investigators to follow on. It also serves as deterent because government officials now have to fear even the secretary for they do not know who will rat them out.

I personally would rather know of the millions stolen and who MIGHT have stolen, than busk in the warmth of ignorance on the happenings in my government any day! At least then even if the system does not take care of the "MIGHT have stolen" I will take care of them when I go to vote.

I love visiting this forum to see what others are saying about my country.

It is nice to see our neighbors having so much interests on what goes on
in Kenya.

In this country, we are at a stage where ministers can 'step aside" or
forced to do so as to be investigated.

You remember the ministers who have done so and the last one being
the minister of the industrialization who allowed vehicles to be imported
which were above the 'age limit' .

We have a vibrant and capable anti-corruption boss, Dr PLO Lumumba
who is making it clear that he will not be shaken by politicians and the
politics of this country.

He has been accused by some politicians that he is targeting
a certain party.

But a thief is a thief and it does not matter in which party he or she may come
from. Politician are trying to be smart but not this time.

The anti-corruption boss, yesterday, declared that in one or two weeks time, five
to fen 'high voltage files' of very prominent personalities in the government will be
handed over to the attorney general for prosecution.

These is what we want to see and it gives us confidence that we are headed in
the right places.

Yes may be having some kind of tribalism (by politicians) but we have not been
killing each other in the recent times. Tribes live side by side and do not need
the 'GSU's' to do so (fanya fujo uone)

Utulivu na amani as in the days of Moi isn't the solution.

The great nation, America, had its own kind of civil war.

Get them, PLO, wakimbize wote, we are with you.

We have more serious problems facing us than what took place
some 30 years ago.
