As the world has come to be with the impact of Covid-19, cracks and fissures have come to be seen in the established economic, political and social norms that have prevailed for hundreds of years if not thousands.

We are now in the midst of juxtaposition of global dominance by the powers that maybe on one side lead by private enterprise endeavours and on the other side state lead endeavours....I think we know who these are. 😉

Technology(+AI) will play a key and crucial role on who will be on top, second from top, in between and bottom or second from bottom so to speak....the 4th industrial revolution is well and truly underway. Does the world need this kind of hierarchical dominance?

The 1st to 3rd industrial revolutions, African was pretty much a spectator to large extents, exploited to the maximum through colonialism, slave trade, and various forms of aid and loans from the you know whos, a common theme through out the period: resources both natural and human......

So now cometh this 4th angle of events we are in, is Africa woken up enough to start thinking from outside the box so to speak so that at least there can be participatory outcomes that benefit the continent and its people for what we all know its potential is......and I do mean we do have the potential to shape the future whatever that may look line rather than being participants of so far what the world has come to look like to some.

For your thoughts and insights for a continued conversation, discussion and deliberation....shell we forge ahead with what is in our minds as we enlighten one another....
