Africa List: Internet Usage By Country 2019...

Kenya continental HEAVY WEIGHT as usual,we are not called SILICON SAVANNAH for nothing, and with it comes jobs and opportunities.overall kudos africa by embracing tech,37% is no mean feat for the whole of africa, step in the right direction.

Saometimes lets be real,
41% (20m) kenyans are children below 15years, They dont have smartphones,
The remaining are 25mn Kenyans owning 48 m smartphones or computers [emoji2][emoji2][emoji2]
Meaning Every adult in Kenya got a minimum of two smartphones or computers,
This sucks[emoji2][emoji2][emoji2][emoji2][emoji2]

What's the need for that cheap data if there no users? A country of 60m people having more than half of its population not able to access internet services in the 21st century is a shame of the highest degree.....The cheap data is just to try to woo more internet users....

Here is a now long raging controversy in Kenya; kids as young as 10 acquiring phones, and some, esp the upper primary scholars and students in secondary school even taking their phones to school...get it? The age demographic u are trying to present here isn't going to rubbish the facts presented in the stats.

You guys are becoming notorious for disputing and rubbishing every statistics and reports that present your country in bad light, claiming it is skewed against your country, but quick to accept and celebrate the positive ones, even when it is by the same organization.

If we go deeper in the demographics you will find within that 42% of your youngsters, more than 37% have the age distribution of around 7-0 in which they cannot afford to read or write anything.

And more over we want to know what are the criteria for one to register SIM cards in Kenya, this gonna finalise the discussion of 25 million Internet users in the brackets. Tell us what are the components one has to handle for acquiring a sim card in Kenya.

Ok, please let us know the criteria for sim cards registration in Kenya,
And in addition to that, kenya is just a third world Country, of which Over 74% Kenyans live in Rural Areas,
Meaning that among those 20m infants and toddlers and younger children of which you claim they own smartphones, I assume 74% come from Ushango.
Kindly give us a good explanation on this as well.

😂😂😂😂 Having statistics and interpretation of them is another thing

Demographics za Kenya population zinasema watoto Kenya chini ya miaka 15 ni zaidi ya 42% ya Wakenya ambao of course wengi wapo mashambani pasipo na umeme achilia mbali smartphones and laptops or whatever

Lakini they've cooked rotten data kwamba Internet users ni million 48+ 😂😂😛😛 wakati kati ya Wakenya million 45 zaidi ya Wakenya million 20 ni watoto chini ya miaka 15 😂😂😜😜 cooked rotten data is creepy, how Internet users surpassed the whole country population?
povu nzito hili

Yes Tanzania should be leading..That is why Magufuli is now in charge, the past is gone the future is here..For the first time Tz is in AFCON, 2 million extra kids are now in school, The largest infrastruture drive since independence is now underway, corruption is at almost zero..Welcome to the new tanzania

You brought some sort of guardianship legal act, the guardian is a person legally responsible for a minor or incompetent person, targetin to {in loco parentis}.

*in loco parentis is the legal term of which is the act of assuming the place or position of a parent.

And all this came to be viable after the introduction of mobile money hence your government saw the need to regulate and ordain the whole process legally just like in any other areas of property {with value} acquisition or possession.

So haina uhusiano wowote na ninachotaka hapa, so what you want to convey here is every single minor in Kenya possesses an Internet device or what?

Bring what makes sense please. Particulars of SIM card registration in Kenya, that's all.

I love this question..
Na hawatakaa walijibu sababu wanajua fika kwamba kwa mazingira ya usajili wa lines za simu ni ngumu watoto wa Kenya 24+ million wapate usajili sababu hawana IDs kama driving licence, passport, national ID, and other documents otherwise waseme they are using hot-spot all around au wired connections.
