Beware!!!!!!!!! when you input code 9696 while on entertainment, you get 3 more plugins (Hardstaion 1,2 and 3) The 3 carry porn content (video on demand) so beware before you access the hardstations.

One of the best 3G networks in Nairobi is Airtel.
Speeds are good enough to stream music with no buffering, YouTube streaming with no buffering.
Access to IPTV via spark sat receiver without any buffering.
Aitel were offering unlimited internet but stopped last month.
While on Airtel unlimited offer, i could download an average 5GB worth of media (Torrent Video, Games, Applications, Music plus more)

Orange is the only mobile provider offering 3G unlimited internet access but Orange Kenya has decided to alter the share of Internet and that of Terms and Conditions.
Orange believe in something called Fair Usage Policy (FUP).
The FUP is said to ensure that a few users do not degrade the quality of Internet connectivity for everyone else by using lots of capacity among st themselves

By providing them with truly unlimited Internet, such inconsiderate subscribers would end up taking advantage of this kind offer by downloading movies, downloading movies for their neighbours and a number would end up running Cyber Cafe's on a KSh. 3,000 monthly Internet connection.

is citizen tv on IS 20(68.5 deg)east stable. i abandoned it sometime back coz it was used as feed for live broadcast or sometime it just goes blank rendering it unreliable. i was told they (RMS) have feed on amos 5 which they use to transmit live feed. am oping that the frequency on IS 20 is now stable.
please can anyone confirm this?

Brother Kungu Managed to lock on frequency 11981V 27500 on the East beam of Yahsat with a 165cm offset and a samson lnb hosting the GEM TV package!

I noted the building nxt to me had been the problem for me all tht time...I had to drag the dish away from it to get the full illumination of the sattellite...
