African Satellite World and Sat Gear

It said that ARQ never went missing... They just reduced the signal strength to a level you'd need a 12ft to receive it..
That's better confirmed by those having 12 feet. Otherwise it remains just hearsay.

Kitu najiuliza why is why iko 65k ama ni UG money
Beein decoders alone go for as much as Ksh 50k with one year subscription included without the dish.. but it's still a bargain compared to paying distv for the whole year which would cost you around Ksh 84K every year.. (7000x12).. for live football..

For beein, after purchase and installation you'll be paying only ksh 20000 per year in subscription.. that saves you around Ksh 50k a year.

Then the 8ft dish needed is Ksh 22K new

Econet Media shuts down Kwese pay-TV business
AUGUST 6, 2019 07.40 EUROPE/LONDON BY ROBERT BRIEL
Zimbabwe’s Econet Wireless will shut its African pay-television unit due to the country’s economic condition and shortage of foreign currency, group CEO Douglas Mboweni said.

“We regret to end this service, which thousands of Zimbabweans had embraced and welcomed into their homes and offices as a viable alternative source of news, sport and entertainment,” Econet Wireless Group CEO Douglas Mboweni.

“The third-party content providers, on whose content we rely, require payment in foreign currency. With the prevailing economic conditions in Zimbabwe and the current business operating environment, characterised by an acute shortage of foreign currency, sustaining Kwese and the Kwese satellite service was no longer viable.”

Econonet Media operates in more than a dozen countries under the Kwese brand and is owned by Zimbabwe’s richest man, Strive Masiyiwa. Last month, the company went into voluntary administration and appointed accountants Ernst & Young to manage the process as it pays its creditors.

Infront wins Sub-Saharan Africa free-to-air rights
28 May 2019
Premier League's free-to-air TV rights will cover more than 40 sub-Saharan countries for next three seasons

The Premier League and Infront have agreed a new partnership for free-to-air rights across sub-Saharan Africa for three years commencing with the 2019/20 season.

The rights to the Premier League cover over 40 sub-Saharan countries, including major territories such as South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya.

"We are very pleased to be working with Infront for the next three years," Paul Molnar, the Premier League's Director of Broadcasting, said.

"For fans in over 40 countries across the region, this agreement will allow one free-to-air match to be broadcast live every Saturday, as well as weekly preview, magazine and highlights programmes.

"These rights are important in ensuring the widest possible access to our competition for the many passionate Premier League fans across Africa."

The project will be managed by Infront's recently created Africa division based in Paris, which will focus on distributing media rights across the continent.

"The Premier League is the most recognisable football league in the world with its influence resonating globally," Stephan Herth, Infront's senior vice-president of football, said.

"The fact that every African Footballer of the Year since 2015 is currently playing in the Premier League highlights the appeal it has on the continent and we are looking forward to delivering exciting action to fans across the region."

Someone asked, what is solution on starsat WiFi hanging.

1. Never refresh WiFi that is the beginning of hanging.

2. Once receiver starts hanging due of net(WiFi), you will have to switch to another WiFi router(I.e if you're using one phone's hotspot and it hangs, you switch to another phone's hotspot).

3.The previous net/WiFi(the one that hanged) will work after some few days(without hanging).
Refresh section, moto wa kuoteya mbali.
