4K, UHD, Android 7 and other fancy stuff they flaunt aren't selling point for decoders in most of Africa.

All we want to hear is what is it opening.

Thank you sir.
Using an analogue sat finder, I can see how tough my work is. I Wish there were specific measurements ....

There are. SatLink WS-6980 hukupimia hadi elevation.
One can also make their own simple inclinometer.

I sometimes miss the mwaga maji, Chota maji TZ whatsapp group, they kicked me out of the group for not contributing. Who can smuggle be in? Kenyan style [emoji41]

Wachana na hao dsthief moles with new accounts. Wamenisumbua sana inbox.
Is there a lower life form than these pathetic creatures who come on this forum masquerading as ASAS victims so they can update their bosses and sabotage FTA?I have been asked questions and immediately afterwards i have seen keys put on channels but bado tunaendelea.Kwanza for the last two weeks i have been enjoying some 'illegal' goodies na sisemi ni wapi. So, if you are a mole(whether continental, dishthif or st*times) na unasoma hii post yangu go tell your bosses wameacha fly open so wascan all their positions wafungie hizo vitu zao.Kisha uwaambie things are gonna get even worse soon.As we speak right now there are people somewhere in Africa working on some 'nasty' FTA things that are going to hit your bottomline even further,so ambieni hao wakubwa wenu wakae tayari.Najua saa hii mmeanza kuplania hizo masdiscount za desemba.Mtapata a few people watakao-install holiday period- lakini ikifika jaanuari hizo mapackage zenu ni nyinyi mtakuwa mkiziona !!

Sorry my point wasnt on whether they strugle with the market, on the contary, these arent just any 4k, UHD Android 8 or 9 struggling with the market, they already have the market, they are wanted but being sold like "A cocain" thing!

Ofcourse they are the best for the time being, and they already gottten into many sat people in central, North and west Africa like"impulsively" but from Morocco, the exception is only in East Africa.

There could be many reasons but one that i can guess is the selling price!
180 USD to 210USD without shipping!
Shipping is 40 usd.
On ebay they go for 210 Usd plus 25 Usd for shipping from Riyadh Saudi Arabia.

I was only hinting on local East African suppliers, because not even the popular Mmasi at Kariakoo, who supplied many peole with the previos versions of starsat decoders have them! He only got Xcruiser decoders at 100USd without shipping.

4K, UHD, Android 7 and other fancy stuff they flaunt aren't selling point for decoders in most of Africa.

Gradual Process

Bezeq has said its satellite platform Yes is to drop DTH transmissions in favour of OTT.

Despite being described by the company as “a gradual process that is expected to spread over several years”, the decision will still come as a blow to troubled satellite operator Spacecom. Yes currently uses Amos 3 and 7 from 7 degrees West.

In a statement, Yes said it would monitor market conditions and make changes to its plan as appropriate.

“The resolution of the yes Board was taken in light of trends in the TV content market that include lower barriers to entry, the emergence of new players, the establishment of OTT broadcasting technologies, changes in the value chain, and change in consumer habits.”

Bezeq said its study had taken into account satellite technology, the set-top box market, content rights, broadband speeds and the current regulatory environment.

Described as a “gradual process” the company said there were no guarantees as to when the process would take place, but said it would lead to savings.

Launched in 2000, Yes currently has in the region of 600,000 subscribers.
