yes naija is a much bigger mkt.but even ours has some potential.as for the cost,the dish is the one thing that we ought to have alternatives.i do not have to go for a 5m BUD,but i it should b possible to get an 8ft at around 5k locally.that is affordable for many people.

Satellite dish is a reflector it incomes signal from lnb.but g.I sheet metal is not a reflector so it cannot do this my friend

Microwaves are used to send signals to and from satellites and one property of microwaves is that they are reflected by metal surfaces, satellite dish is made of metal because metal reflects microwaves well therefore if the G.I sheet (which is a metal) can be shaped into a parabolic reflector of the required size then it can be used as a mould to reproduce fiberglass dishes.
Aaaaarrghh needs a mould to take it to Pultrusion Fibre Glass Limited so that they can make a good sized BUD for better reception of beams not in range for normal sized dishes. The G.I dish can also be used as an antenna.

GI sheet is just galvanised ordinary steel to prevent it from rusting.

Aluminium is also a good material for the mould as it resists corrosion.

We are talking while heading to the 'ground' this dish has to be made, matheka used a 90cm dish as a mould to make a concrete duplicate. I believe with words of encouragement he will do wonders 🙂
