African Satellite World and Sat Gear

Essao, kazi kwako (work for you)
😁😁Ha ha haa. .very funny. I only defended kiswahili, not regional tongues like Chichewa, luganda, kikuyu, kikongo etc.An international language is known by google translate and bots. But i seem to have touched a raw nerve(for whatever reason). So,why dont we proceed as we have always done...when a forum member sees a question they dont like or understand-maybe because of language, lack of technological knowhow or whatever reason-they leave it for others who are in a position to answer,ey?That has been working pretty well so far.

And people,i did not say this is not an international SAT forum ..It is an international sat forum based in east africa-Tanzania in particular. But participants are from all over.Nobody should get hot under the collar over this,eh?LIGHTEN UP GUYS 😁

Ah! This language debacle.
If only we can drop it.
But if I can be honest! I neither consider highly anyone who speaks english nor devalue he who speaks Kiswahili and ask for assistance.
Besides, i only speak or write in english only when its necessary, but Kiswahili! Ooh I'm in love with it, proud of it, a true bantu language.

But!
We all have a point here!
Lets drop this language thing and get back to our mud sat-hunting love.

Hapo umeongea kaka. Tis a beautiful language. One of the biggest regrets in my life thus far is that despite my best efforts, my grasp of kiswahili has remained at basic level, like that of most kenyans.

Anyway, back to sat matters. Let me see how wolves(wakiwa mtu kumi) are faring vs leister @my usual 52 spot.aaaggg. ..nil nil dakika ya naite.uuuii..GG yangu imeenda¡!!!woooiiiwwoioiii;(;(!!!!hujuma gani hiiii!!!!??aaaaaaa....hawa Mawuuvs ni ovyo sana!!

The poster(Kingdavidtheone )asked a simple question in kiswahili and one of the respondents answered in kiswahili, which means he understands the language.

Which limits the response he gets to only those who understand him. Assuming he gets any.

By the way! Those who cant afford the likes of 52 and 4w!, 38e is stil open for the queen of england league! Free. No entrance needed.
Also on 10 e you can also enjoy a single game evey saturday.
So if you have those two! Then the queen's league is not gonna be an issue.
You can topup with 7e and get the Bonjour league or go direct to 5e and get it also.

But all in SD no HD.

Yea. Surprisingly, football fans are well catered for on the fta arena, despite the recent gloomy developments in many sat positions.long may it continue.

Sure! As it stand, football will not be that expensive anymore in years to come! Im not sure how that will affect the multibillion dolar business.

Take an example here in Tz, the giant is struggling, now they lowered to the extent if you pay for one month they give you two extra months, making it three. Which is like 6.9 usd per month for queen's league.
Thats whats happening.

And even that 6.9usd is still extortionate. With the entry into football of serious US internet marketers like Amazon, things will get very messy for BB and his ilk. Hata sky inalia. BB moles on this forum.. ..tell your bosses to make it 7usd per 6months ama mtaendelea kulia tu.

Premier League’s new chief says Netflix-style overseas service is on cards
Sat 8 Feb 2020 22.30 GMT
The Premier League will eventually sell matches on a Netflix-style channel, its new chief executive, Richard Masters, has said. Masters confirmed that the Premier League had considered launching its own digital service – streaming live games and other content directly – in some countries during the TV bidding process for the 2019-22 seasons.
He confirmed such an option – which would allow the Premier League to charge directly for a “Premflix”channel rather than sell the rights to TV companies – was on the table for the 2022-25 seasons.

The Premier League makes £3.1bn a year from TV rights, of which £1.4bn comes from foreign buyers. However, launching its own streaming service in some territories could lead to substantial rises in revenue. In Singapore, Singtel pays £70m a season to the Premier League, yet it makes £175m a year from subscribers who pay around £35 a month for live games. If the Premier League kept these TV rights for itself it could potentially make another £100m in Singapore alone.
