i envy the Tanzanians, all their channels free on the easiest bird to track. when will our CCK wake up and reign in all our channels and harbour them in a powerful bird that we can nab with 60 cm dishes.

Hi, we heard sometimes back that a company had won rights for EPL for MENA region and it was to resell the same to some leading tv stations. It is now one before the start of EPL and no station has been awarded the rights. Any news ?

hi ugda,
congrats for your effort.place intelsat 902 as your prime position, then 906 above it and 904 below it.you sort the cracking of ntv by tweaking the lnb till u get right position.i also note that cracking appears daytime but as from 4pm it clear.

with what size of dish

Is the Tanzania Integrated Network Grid Co. Ltd (TING) the same as Agape Television Network (ATN)? I remember awhile back the TING channels on Eutelsat 36A at 36E used to be scrambled. They are now FTA on 12275 H 11200-3/4 QPSK, DVB-S2. Or did ATN buy out TING?
The TING website (www.ting.co.tz) talks about ATN and not TING. According to the website, ATN is using 36E to link their 7 terrestrial sites (soon to be 22) to distribute the Headend channels on DVB-T2 platform in Tanzania. I see K24 on the lineup too. Maybe these channels will be FTA for good.

ATN is a religious organization which runs the ATN channel (www.agapetelevision.com); and has shares from the World Agape Ministries, and Trinity Broadcasting Network (www.tbn.org). It appears they are venturing into DVB-T2 service provision.

According to the Agape Television Website (www.agapetelevision.com), the World Agape Ministries as the Major shareholder of Agape Associates Limited was granted a Network Facility license by Tanzania Communication Regulatory Authority on 24th March 2010 to operate for the next 25 years. This License is the First Digital License that was issued in the East Africa Community. Agape Television Network intends to cover over 5 major cities of Tanzania with Digital signal at a cost of USD 52 million dollars.

World Agape Ministries as a parent ministry had tendered for a Multiplexer license through its company, Agape Associates Limited. The multiplexer is to deliver Content Service Providers' signals to their consumers at a fee. With the 25 year Multiplexer license, the long term plan of ATN is to reach 100 million homes in Africa by the year 2020.

Hi pple ,
I found out my diseqc 1.1 ( 8 port ) is faulty... however I've replaced them twice but to no avail. It appears my setup burns them. The symptom is that only port 1 is working.... but when you connect another LNB to port 2 or any other port and scan ,the signal received is what is on port one. When you connect to any other port other than port 1 ,no signal is received!!!!:help:
Any ideas ?

i had the same problem with my 8 port diseqc switch when i tried using it with echolink 777. i replaced echolink with srt 4922 but worked very well. so i found out some decoders do not work with 8 or 16 way diseqc switch. use 4 way diseqc switch.

All the best.

ASAS is eating me softly. I want to go for a cccam account to configure into my srt 4922 so that i can decrypt paytvs. My question is: wat is the internet speed required to make the account function? Can gprs network enough to open the account? Hope some of u are familiar with them.

binbro you can nail the channel in Ethiopia comfortably with a 90 cm dish.
