Today, at a Nakumatt supermarket in Nairobi, I came across a 32 inch LG LED TV Model 32LN540U which boasts to have the following key features:
-Built-in DVB-T2 decoder
-Built-in FTA/Freeview HD Satellite decoder (not specified whether it is DVB-S or S2; or if MPEG4).
-USB 2.0
-HDMI 1.4
-CI slot
-LAN
-Full Scart
-Composite In (CVBS + Audio)
-Component in (Y,Pb,Pr) + Audio
-Digital Audio Out (Coaxial/ Optical)
-USB Moving Picture Playback (SD/HD/Plus HD)
-AC3(Dolby Digital), EAC3,HAAC,AAC, Mpeg, MP3, PCM
It seems like it was made for the European market. Check:

Like someone said on this forum, better to buy TV separate from Decoder(s) whose firmware you can play around with without worrying about frying the unit. Moreover, features in a combo unit (i.e. TV + DVB-T2 + DVB-S2) could soon be overtaken by upcoming technological advancements.
All in all,it seems LG develops pocket friendly technology unlike their competitors. But are they compromising quality?
