Hey KUngu1, i am using a strong hd 4922 and a stargold fuji single lnb. I have a 1.8 prime focus dish. I recently acquired a jsc sports card and i am able to get jsc sports +6 to +10 and jsc HD1 to HD4. I managed to input HD5 and 6 manually as the blind scan could not nab them. But the HD5 and 6 have very weak signal. Also a slight rain scrambles most of my fta and jsc pay channels. How can i arrest the two problems please!

yap...last month I managed to nab the said channels in nairobi with similar results..a 130cm offset dish n inverto ultra lnb should do the trick...a 150cm offset is even better.
 
@ all is it possible to nab astra 2f with 1.8 m prime focus in Nairobi.
 
was walking around ktl and found EOUROSTAR ES 10 dvb s2 decoder, going for 7k, how good is this box?

Abu I use 180 prime focus with Fuji gold star lnb and the jsc HDS are good at 90 strength and 75 quality with little rain interference in Nairobi unless heavy so probably Yu need this lnb and adjust it to 3 ocklock

I have once replaced a 120cm offset dish, because it had bent and could not nab JSC signals. When I tried to bend the dish, the signals improved on the spectrum analyser and when I release, signals drop. So if the prime focus dish also has slight damage, it will give you difficulty nabbing some freqs.

one thing i like about it is it can nab and show channels with low signal quality as low as 36%. good for searching channels on dvs2& MPEG4 demodulation.

no patch s/w available therefore no biss keys. that why i sold mine.
 
Has anyone managed to nab C band Paksat 1 (38deg) or Arabsat 5c on an offset dish (90cm)?

im thinking of getting PTV sport and the IRib Sports chanel

which satellites has good fta channels for kids that can be nabbed in dar es salaam with 180cm dish and mpeg4 hd receiver? plz
