African Satellite World and Sat Gear

More grease to my elbow ....
As i was searching for more goodies i landed to this...
Egypt’s publicly-traded satellite operator Nile sat has signed a launch contract with SpaceX for the in-orbit delivery of Nilesat-301 geostationary communications satellite due in 2022.

The deal was sealed between Nilesat and SpaceX in Cairo on Tuesday, the first cooperation between the two companies, reports MENA-based online news media SatelliteProMe. Nilesat-301 will deliver communications and direct digital broadcasting services to Nilesat’s existing customer base and help extend the companies footprint in new markets in North Africa, Middle East, Sudan and East Africa.

NileSat 301 will be NileSat’s fourth satellite in space. The first, NileSat 101, was launched into space in 1998, followed by NileSat 102 which was launched two years later. Both satellites were built by the defunct French aerospace company Matra Marconi, now Airbus Defence and Space. NileSat’s third satellite, NileSat 201, was built by Thales Alenia Space.

NileSat-301 has a development timeline of 25 months and is expected to last over 15 years in orbit upon launch in January 2022

Nilesat’s other satellites were all launched by European launch provider Arianespace and from Europe’s Spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana.

One of my greatest enemy is rust...especially in my area ...i just need new fabricated "hands" intead of patching things up.... Advice what type of metal should i tell my fundi to use ...and what are the exact measurements of the lengths of these "hands"

What vaccines are you using to manage ASAS?
Right now i am surviving on barebones(in terms of my ASAS needs).Once footy got infected by corona and my beloved iranians@52e disappeared(i assumed they also got distracted by the serious covid in their country), i went into semi-hibernation.So am just following the global death tallies on a voa/trt/rt/dw diet via a 5e/7e combo which also has a few movies and cartoon channels from ghana. There is also a camerounian channel(scbc) that loves ted talk.

The lnb arms for an 8ft dish lie between 130-133cm. Use the 130cm length.
Since it will be hard to find light sturdy metal tube to fabricate new arms.
Cut at the middle and weld the short extension needed.
Tip to tip should be 130cm.
Use a Cband scalar ring to guide you while drilling new holes on the "new" arms.
Grease them now to reduce rust.

On another note you are in a semi dry region why is rust a challenge ? I believe mankuri is more towards the ocean than you are.
