After having peaked my setup long ago and just enjoying it .... Now that I have relocated my base ... I'm finding it difficult to lock into stuff. !!!
Apstar is one such nut.... I simply cannot lock on to both a*n and lotus macau ... It's just one or the other !!! Eish... And I imagine in my former setup they were roaring..... Practise makes perfect !!!

Incidentally does anyone around Nairobi area know a fundi who is good with sunplus receivers?the main chip of mine was messed up by a power surge so it only blinks and goes off.i was foolishly operating without a tv guard and i learned my harsh lesson.the TV is loved by the kids coz of installing games but as an fta enthusiast i find it to be annoyingly limited. so i need to either revive my box or get a new one.

It was all there... Challenges were a new satfinder satlink ws 6933.. flysat or media star ms 2727 or euro star lnb single solution .... Wrong polarities,difference in in lo freq hi freq between a*n and lotustv. .. but it was all there .... If I had done traditional approach ... Dish to tv ..adjust .... Dish to tv adjust.... Instead of satfinder at dish only... I would have gotten it..... Still learning how to use satfinder ws 6933..... Long story short I got it... Thx Ranksat
 
In East Africa, if i wanted to get the signal, what size of a dish should i have?
