Got v7 HD and inbuilt hisense, any remedy?

my cable is the black type, bought in down-town Nairobi.i have always assumed it is rg6 as indicated.i don't know if it is fake rg6.where are those marked'astel'sold? on the net there are those called wf100&wf125 which are said to be the best.who knows if these are found locally?

for switches,i have already''fried' 2 eurostar diseq switches-which is why i dread using them.i don't know what i did wrong coz i had insulated them with plastic sheeting.i just noticed some smoke and a 'burning' smell coming from the switch.what are the absolute no-no's when it comes to using diseqc switches?
Disceqs are quite hardy.. there's a Eurostar 4x1 I've been using since 2018 and still works. It just sits under dish in a dry place.

But don't short them.

Also the decoder should shut the lnb power immediately it notices a short to prevent frying.

Tried the same steps on Tiger T3000 Extra without success!
i have always found it easier to learn when equipped with some background theory.perhaps vicwa should have explained what exactly is being remedied here.what is being modified and why?is it that the uploaders released their signal with some inbuilt glitches or is it the satellite itself?in this way, those with other boxes can tailormake their adjustments according to their boxes.vicwa oo---over to you!
😁 😉

Short circuit on cable, or, connecting cable on receiver when it is powered on. The first diseqc I bought and still using it since 2012

must have shorted the switches somehow ,most probably with the roofing.

at least they've reduced the frequency of satellite hopping.but yea,,our naija brothers remain as confused as ever.once somsat puts audio on their mbc's, i'll not need 51.5 anymore.

Is 68.5E doing better ?? ARE DISCOVERY CHANNELS OPENING WITH FOREVER ???
