Still in the game and using prime focus sat dishes to access (free) wifi signals from my kind neighbours.

Egypt succeeded in launching the new satellite "Nilesat 301", on board the "Falcon 9" missile from the "Cap Canaveral" base, in the US state of Florida.

the new moon covers the countries of southern Africa and many areas in the Nile Basin countries......

Guys is this mean all those channels currently available in MENA beam which also are now shifting from Nilesat 201 to new moon, Nilesat 301 will be available to South African and Nile Basin beams?

It's not a hack. The wifi has to be password free. The dish will only help concetrate the signal if it's from far and very weak. Otherwise you don't need a dish. But you must have a free WiFi signal source.

You will put your Access Point device at the focal point of the dish to increase signal gain. The dish points the direction of the wifi signal source

By the way you can still use your big dish to improve your terrestrial TV signal reception. Just put the TV antenna roughly at the focal point and point the dish towards the Tv transmitter

Back in the 90s I did sth akin to this.
I was using a fluorescent bulb as an FM aerial.
I then fabricated a small concave reflector off an old aluminium sufuria and this massively improved my reception (Metro FM 😁) as well as gave the aerial a 'direction'.

Yeah you can still use the dish to improve fm signal gain so long as you know the direction transmission is coming from
