Kenya pipeline to use technology to prevent siphoning
Kenya Pipeline Company has moved to acquire new detection systems to monitor fuel in the pipeline to prevent siphoning cases.
KPC Managing Director Joe Sang said the firm will be putting in place a leak detection system and a pipeline intrusion system to monitor fuel. Sang said this while on a tour of Kibos area where a rogue trader had tapped into the main Kisumu line.

Fool who build a pipeline in today's world without antileaking system. Only corrupt Kenya. The funny thing is the Chinese again doing a shoddy deal for u.You probably put this here with a deceptive headline to preempt a Kenyan doing so.
You think people in Kenya just wake up like your emperor and decide things on the roadside? In Kenya there are processes, tenders, studies, court cases, and eventual deployment.
That anti-leak system is no less than 5 years in planning.

Only fools in Kenya build a pipeline then launch in pomp and fanfare before realising antileaking system needed after oil was siphoned in Kibos. I repeat Only fools in Kunyaland.Every time you open your mouth you confirm yourself the fool you're thought to be.
When building a road, what comes after the other? Laying of the tarmac or installing street lights?
If your feeble brain can answer that, then you should delete this thread before further embarrassment.

Comparing 1968 pipeline with antileakage system to just opened brand new 2018 without antileakage system! U must be sick in ur head!TAZAMA pipeline crippled by leakage. GEZA zima moto nyumbani kabla kuhamia kwa jirani. Sawasawa?
Uende ukayambe! Is it that you didn't watch the video, didn't understand the English or are just playing ignorant.
Didn't the MD Joe Sang use these words..
"We're putting in place shortly."
"The procurement are underway."
"We've already installed the fiber optic cabling... for communication"
Now, I'll ask again. Which part drove you into thinking KPC woke up on the morning of Kibos; procured, tendered, and installed the fiber optics on the same day, procured the rest of the leak detention system on the same day, and is shortly about to install it?
Lebanese firm ndio ilijenga pipeline. Hata hujui anything about Kenya na unajifanya eti wewe ni expert wa Kenyan Affairs.Fool who build a pipeline in today's world wI thought antileaking system. Only corrupt Kenya. The funny thing is the Chinese again doing a shoddy deal for u.
Does that change a fact u r always getting raw deals?Lebanese firm ndio ilijenga pipeline. Hata hujui anything about Kenya na unajifanya eti wewe ni expert wa Kenyan Affairs.
Agree, it's a steep learning curve out there...May be because this is Kenya's first pipeline,
and all your paper projects are still gathering dust in Maghu-FOOL-i's desk... pathetic mokeysFool who build a pipeline in today's world wI thought antileaking system. Only corrupt Kenya. The funny thing is the Chinese again doing a shoddy deal for u.

Now this is happening it will take a herculian task to convince Uganda n Rwanda to use this pipeline for their oil imports!
