Agriculture: Kenya vs Tanzania

If thika residents owned and operated Delmonte like the farmers of Githunguri(Freshia dairy) then you could say the residents are comfortable..What I see in thika is very many poorly paid paupers who work in mhindi factories and mzungu's delmonte

Mkikuyu Akili-Timamu stop engaging in a game of musical chairs, you said that commercial farming messed up land issues in kenya,i pointed it you that land issues mostly affects the coast region where little or no commercial farming takes place, foreign capital injected in farming in kenya is a win-win situation where the multi national creates much needed employment, pay taxes etc while investors reaps in profit, thats better than generations living in poverty for fear of foreign capital...... Again have you ever been to thika, let get the facts straight here, the minimum wage bill for an average worker in Del monte is $ 200,you have the audacity to call someone earning such amount a pauper,my friend i didn't know you were that ignorant, thika town and its environs lacks the slum housing menace you see in nairobi and other major cities in kenya, that should tell you something about their income...

Well well, as we speak right now am in thika Ananans mall just finished a late lunch

Mkikuyu Akili-Timamu.....haha enjoy the comfort of foreign capital without much rumbling...will you?...you don't bite the hands that feeds you...you know....

Sisi ambao sio Lumumba wala waKenya tuna comment wapi????. Naona kila mtu yupo na statistics zake either way if Tanzania was serious in Agriculture with resources it has it should be able to feed the whole of Sub-Saharan Africa

Reactions: Oii
Its thindigua my friend...not thedegua....good to see you making some mulla..thats the advantage of living in a free society...progress is ones choice....but your brothers and sisters back in Tz are chocking and suffocating under CCM yoke of primitive policies..instead of cheer leading them while living the good life in kenya...advice them accordingly....isn't it my friend Mkikuyu Akili-Timamu???

Boss, ccm is doing a tremendous job here, majority of us are with ccm and we know there's no one else that will outperform ccm for now.
I know Tz is scaring the shit out of your asses, but unfortunately we aren't competing with Kenya.
Hizo takwimu za chakula haziwezi ongelea ukweli kuhusu Tz agriculture from north, south, east and west of Tz, it's a very huge country, mtasema mnaproduce zaidi ya Tz but have you ever seen a Tz truck transporting agricultural products from Kenya to Tz? I see a lot of kenyan fuso in Tz farms.

Listen to your fellow Kenyans giving you statistics which show Kenya imports everything as far as food is concern, don't deceive yourselves, Kenya as a country needs to learn many things from Tanzania to get away with Historical land injustice and and to reduce importation of food.

#system ya facts#with all the facts having been laid on the table its obvious kenya agriculture is way more advanced when compared to tanzania stone age backward crude farming, shockingly tanzanians here in Jf couldn't let us breath bombarding us with myths of how superior their farming was to the extent of feeding kenyans and region.Lol...it turns out they themselves are suffering stunted growth due to inadequete nutrients..we will continue debunking this myths to enlighten our brothers and sisters across the border...tunapenda nyinyi sana jirani,,lazima tuwambie ukweli ndio tusonge mbele pamoja...ama namna gani wenzetu????..next will be tourism

Hahahaha, pamoja na Maelezo yote wanayotoa hapo kupnyesha kwamba Kenya mumeshindwa kuzalisha chakula cha kujitosheleza Bado unatosha?, Kenya is many decades behind Tanzania katika Kilimo cha chakula, Kenya itaendelea kutegemea chakula toka Tanzania kwa miaka mingi ijayo kama ambavyo rais wenu amethibitisha, get out from your ego and accept the reality
