Despite operating only 2 airplanes, this has been Air Tanzania's financial situation for the last few years.

2014/15 - Tsh 94.3 billion ($41 million)
2015/16 - Tsh 109.3 billion ($48 million)
2016/17 - Tsh 113.8 billion ($50 million)

Their new dreamliner has been leased from the Tanzanian government (which borrowed the cash). Meaning ATCL will be paying to use it.
Which means the losses will only get worse.

The problem with Tanzania is that public companies don't publish their books, and when they do, they are buried.
The backward media does not ask questions, and the 'enlightened' JF members are only interested in the financial results of Kenyan companies.

It took a courageous MP to reveal this information about ATCL.

If Air Tanzania is posting half of KQ's losses, despite operating 2 aircraft, what will happen if they buy more?

Kumbe they have been laughing at KQs losses to distract us from their own.
And remember Air Tanzania has never posted a profit for all its years of operation. Since 1977.

A train can carry thousands. Or hundreds of containers. And open up lots of interior areas.
It shows which 'nation' is thinking.

Here in Kenya we let the private sector bail out and run the airline.
The amount used to buy a single dreamliner of 250 passengers, can build 2 very big hospitals.

And by the way, I brought up ATCL because you have been singing how KQ makes losses. Kumbe Air Tanzania is even worse. It's on its death bed yet it was only operating 3 aircraft.
