Hdi- health, education and life expectancy... we trounce u in all that.So somehow you think a country with a 0.555hdi rank isn't more developed than country with a 0.531hdi? SMH
I've lived in Kenya, I've travel to Kenya so many times, singing empty words that Kenya is more advance that Tanzania doesn't cut the mustard, you'll need more supporting evidence than that. I'm not convinced that Kenya is so far ahead in on welfare of its people, on security, on access to health, food, air quality, education, land, ccess to credit, housing, good representation in politics, law, governance, lower in crime, corruption ..I'm just not that convinced. I've said it before Kenya is not that advanced to Tanzania, if is that advance why we're all member of EAC where some of rules and regulation are harmonised meaning the standard is supposed to be the same? Is Kenya advance in tourism, industrialization, farming, unemployment, access to clean water?? Were I'm struggling to see.Really, you're starting to sound like Geza. Kenya's rebased economy expanded by 25%, Tz rebased economy expanding even by a larger margin, by 32%. Still this 'synthesized' 32% increment wasn't to bring you to the lower middle income level that you deride yet look up to.
That aside, Kenya is more developed, than Tz, you seeing or not being able to see that is up to your own access to knowledge and its interpretation. it's becoming uncouth trying to school you on very obvious facts so I rest my case
Japan is the largest creditor nation, not donor nation. Google the 2 and get the difference, stop misquoting me. And yet that isn't the only misquotation, how does having the most intelligent robot and inventing the robot mean the same thing?
And you are busy opposing me by supporting my predispositions. Isn't taking some old idea and adding more features to it innovating? With all those regional roads you claim you have, they're still 2/3 of the road length of a country 1/2 yours' in size. Tell that to a 10 year old and ask him/her which of the 2 is better off?
So do you accept Congo Brazzaville, Libya, Jamaica is way ahead than Kenya??So somehow you think a country with a 0.555hdi rank isn't more developed than country with a 0.531hdi? SMH
As I said earlier, I'm done trying to spoon feed you plain facts. Arguing in endless circles and repeatedly stating facts to someone whose mind is set against them isn't a hobby of mine friend.I've lived in Kenya, I've travel to Kenya so many times, singing empty words that Kenya is more advance that Tanzania doesn't cut the mustard, you'll need more supporting evidence than that. The current EAC business report indicate more businesses community are relocating from Mombasa to Dar, and your questing our roads, if our roads were that bad will they bring there businesses to Dar? Its amazing to see young Kenyans knows very little about other EAC countries than they know about western world.
I'll let you believe what you want to believe on Japan business. The country hasn't expand for the last 10yrs, at moment is doing same business it was doing pre market crush 2008. Credit is business like any business, Japan is containing doing the same business it was doing before, but it not growing and in some cases is shrinking because they have to share revenue with China, India and South Korea. EAC rings the bell?
Is that even a question? So do you accept Congo Brazzaville, Libya, Jamaica is way ahead than Kenya??
Is Kenya more advanced than Tanzania?? in what area exactly, food production, HDI, GDP, transportation, nationalism which area?? we all remember Kenya was just about to import doctors from Tanzania.
Beating your chest about paved roads means nothing because with size of our country we've paved almost all our major roads from region to region, city to city. And all that was done by tax payers money, no donors, no loans. Where do you think Magufuli's earned his nickname Bulldozer.
So all this time you been busy trying to convince us Kenya is ahead than Tanzania and yet you can't bring a single damn evidence to support your claim. VERY SADAs I said earlier, I'm done trying to spoon feed you plain facts. For as long as the rest of the world's economists and pronto acknowledge the development edge Kenya has over its neighbors, and that Japan is the 3rd greatest economy and a leader in technology, automation and manufacturing (80% of your cars come from there) then its OK. You go on and believe whatever it is that makes you sleep.
Is that even a question?

The point is Tanzania doctors had qualification and ready to go, in fact they were about to save GOK from humiliation. But you forgot what pushed the KE doctors to strike, they wanted better working conditions, better training facilities, better security which the government couldn't deliver.Lol! Kenyan doctors were on strike. They wanted an unrealistic salary.
So the Kenyan government was looking for temporary solutions. One was hiring Tanzanian doctors and paying them what Kenyan doctors were earning then.
Tanzanian doctors were so glad and happy to drop everything and come to Kenya, because the money Kenyan doctors were complaining is too little was double what the Tanzanians are earning.
So your the voice of opposition now? Yeah, the chase did do the job [emoji23]Oh we know where Makufuli got his name Bulldozer. By locking up opposition and media and making roadside declaration pretending his word is law.
It looks like Tanzanian missed the 80s and 90s phase most African countries went through with dictators, and they now see theirs as sent from heaven.
And if I can educate you a bit. Kenyan loans have only gone significantly up with Jubilee. But even 10 years ago, we had more paved roads than Tanzania.
So, I think you need to grow up and stop using the 'no loans' excuse as a reason for your poverty, backwardness and lack of development.
This is the Nairobi I knowExactly. You've found a good peer for Dar. Mombasa.
It's time you stop comparing the mighty city of Nairobi to that disorganized, unplanned fishing village.

Haha, so to your level of understand, GDP define country's development. Kenya never ceases to amaze us, a least brag about real GDP, pompous rebase GDP doesn't hold water. If I was you, $70bil isn't some to to be proud of after 50yrs of independence.2011: Kenya GDP - $41.95, Tanzania GDP - $33.88. Difference - $8.07
2013: Kenya GDP - $55.10, Tanzania GDP - $44.33. Difference - $10.77
2016: Kenya GDP - $70.53, Tanzania GDP - $47.43. Difference - $23.1
I'm sure number hurt Tanzanians like you. If you have a problem, pick it up with the World Bank.
But the facts are clear. Kenya is ahead of Tanzania, and the gap is GROWING WIDER.
This is the Nairobi I know
So in your words, Kenya public pay goes hand and hand with country productivity? I mean paying a politician same as American politician is that fair? While other live below poverty line?? Well that's Kenya for youYou have to be in Kenya to understand the dynamics.
The doctors strike did not have public support because everyone could see what they were asking for was unrealistic.
If I have my figures right, they wanted an intern doctor paid $3000 a month.. the lowest starting salary.
So they brought in some other issues of better working conditions to win the public sympathy. But the truth is when the salary issue was sorted, they could care less about conditions. Because they know thats an incremental process and the government has various programmes in place.
No one said Tanzanian doctors are not qualified. They are just grossly underpaid by Kenyan standards.
And there is a worse doctor😛eople ratio in Tanzania than in Kenya.

Don't run away from the contents. Real Nairobi is that one.I think our media is doing a great job. I wish Tanzanians can borrow a thing or two and stop embarrassing African media with shoddy journalism.
Yeah, being the darling of the west really help right? remembered Kenya settlers? And $47 billion is something to be proud of?
You have failed this continent.
Peaceful since independence, no dictator until just 2 years ago, lots of natural resources, a huge population, a long coast line and you have nothing to show for it. Just disease and poverty.
And your neighbour who has had more downs than ups, but is doing better than you; you can't help but try to pull her down every opportunity you get.
