Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) had kept it's attack helicopters away from the public eye, but one journalist got a photo of the AH-1 super cobra attack helicopters that the KDF procured.
In 2016 KDF got 12 AH-1F from the jordanian air force with speculation rife in the media and public that they were faulty.
This photo taken at Laikipia Air base shows the attack helicopters have been upgraded to AH-1 super cobra standard.
An unnamed source also confirmed that they have seen action in somalia as part of support for ground troops.
