Another KDF attack helicopter revealed

This ugly mean machine can wipe out an entire battalion in a matter of minutes under the control of a competent pilot. In fact shabab waanze kujificha. This is amazing Russian technology

Boss are you sure ? from what i know a battalion usually consists of 1000 heavily Armed soldiers, with Ground to Air missiles , Rocket ranchers and all those stuffs ,so how can a single Helicopter Destroy such an entire battalion ?

Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) had kept it's attack helicopters away from the public eye, but one journalist got a photo of the AH-1 super cobra attack helicopters that the KDF procured.

In 2016 KDF got 12 AH-1F from the jordanian air force with speculation rife in the media and public that they were faulty.

This photo taken at Laikipia Air base shows the attack helicopters have been upgraded to AH-1 super cobra standard.
An unnamed source also confirmed that they have seen action in somalia as part of support for ground troops.

This is bullshit...our real is enemy is poverty, disease and corrupt leaders. Hizi pesa zitumike kujenga and improving existing schools, hospitals, our ailing agriculture and jailing our despots. There is a saying in Greek " mbaara ti Ūcûrû" or in other words no one benefits from wars or conflict.
Your points are valid but remember, you can not have any of those without peace ie. Peace through strength. We need a strong military to ensure that our nation has peace. Kenya is currently surrounded by enemies and pseudo friends.
The only sure way to eliminate poverty is more capitalism. If we gave all the money used to buy these equipment to every poor Kenyan, I can assure you 98% of the recipients will be back to poverty in a matter of months.
By opening up more markets and reducing regulations and taxes we can eradicate poverty completely in a matter of one decade even if we will still be struggling with corruption.

You are also very right "Nobody benefits from war" but you should remember we live in a harsh world and violence is part fo human nature thus war is inevitable better to be prepared for the inevitable when it happens.
In the world Alliances are not permanent, betrayal is the only constant thus you need to be ready for anything. Including when your "friends" turn against you or pot against you. This means do not rush to war but always be prepared to protect your interest with a powerful force of violence.

Not really a battalion ranges from 400 - 1000 personnel depending on the military size.
As for equipment it depends a lot of african armies are armed with soviet era rocket launchers which do not pose any serious threat to these type of helicopters.

We can do both at the same time. We can secure our country while kicking out corruption and boosting our schools, hospitals and agriculture. It is of no use to built schools and hospitals only for them to be destroyed by shabab, that is a waste of money. America is great and stable because they don't have to worry about being invaded because of their strong military. In fact development cannot come unless there is peace. Peace does not come in a tough neighbourhood like ours unless you are armed to the teeth and you are able to scare away offenders. But you got a good point that more investment should be put into impactful areas like agriculture and schools.

Do you understand what upgrade means?
i) New avionics and radar systems
ii) New weapons and weapons management system eg in jordan they could not carry sidewinders, now they can. They now carry twice the number of hellfire missiles and rockets after the upgrade with a new weapon system
iii) New armor ie a whole new body and rotors
iv) New recon cameras

Jealousy does not look good on you.
