1(a) Mention four areas in which electrolysis is applied.
(b) Electrolytic cell containing zinc sulphate, silver nitrate and copper (II) sulphate as electrolytes were connected in series. A steady current of 1.5A was passed through them until 1.45g of silver was deposited at the cathode of the second cell.
(i) For how long did the current flow?
(ii) What weight of copper and zinc were deposited?
[Electrochemical equivalent of silver = 0.00112]

NimekuPM maelezo namna nitakavyokutumia zawadi. Ukisoma PM yangu hebu nieleweshe jinsi nitakavyokufikishia zawadi yako.
