Hata mimi nimemcheck aise ni machine,atletico wamepata kifaa.....Kikosi cha Argentina ni kikosi bora kuwahi kutokea, tatizo lipo kwa viongozi wa chama [AFA] walikuwa hawaitendei haki timu,na haiwapi support wachezaji na hata kuwathamini pia, na ndicho King Messi kilichompelekea astaafu national team, ni timu ambayo kusema ukweli imejaaliwa kila kitu...almost ya wachezaji wote ni mafundi kwanzia mabeki-foward.

😀😀 Higuain akiukamata mpira ni mtamu...lakini ndie anaeiangusha timu,tumeshuhudia mara ngapi anakosa magoli ya wazi, tulipokutana na ujerumani final,tulipokutana na chile final....kama sikosei 3times katuangusha huyu jamaa....so hata mimi pia sijafurahia kurudishwa kwake....

  • Without Lionel Messi, Edgardo Bauza has chosen Gonzalo Higuain to lead the line, with Sergio Aguero playing as a No. 10. Paulo Dybala and Angel di Maria round out the attacking quarter on the flanks, while Everton's Ramiro Funes Mori lines up at the back.
  • Jose Paolo Guerrero leads the line for the home side, with Edison Flores tucking in just behind. Apart from their No. 9, Yoshimar Yotun and Alberto Rodriguez are the two most senior players in the XI, with nearly 120 caps between them.

  • Argentina were forced to fight back from two goals down to record a draw against Venezuela in their last qualifier back in September, ending a run of four straight Conmebol wins. La Albiceleste currently sit in fourth place, level on points with Brazil.

32'SAVED BY GALLESE AGAIN! Argentina had a free-kick on the very edge of the box, and Di Maria stepped up to strike it, curling a low effort around the wall and towards the near post, but the keeper was there to push it away!

30'As he tends to do, Guerrero sticks to his defender like glue before manufacturing space out of nowhere. Otamendi is the sucker this time, and trips up the striker, getting booked in the process.

28'Peru continue to win all the little 50-50's in midfield, with Argentina ruffled by their tenacious approach. We haven't seen much from the likes of Dybala in attack for la Albiceleste so far.

    • So only one goal in this at the break, and it came from an unlikely source. Everton defender Funes Mori lashed in the opener after Peru failed to adequately deal with a corner. It's been a game of few chances, and there's still all to play for in the second half. Stay tuned.

      Not long left in the first half now as Guerrero is called for an offside when chasing down a long punt out of the back. Both coaches will surely want to make some adjustments at the break to loosen things up from open play.

      From a corner, Peru win the initial header yet again, but fail to get it on target. Surprising that both teams can be so accomplished in the air when attacking set-pieces, but so haphazard when defending them.

      Argentina win a corner, and as they've tended to do in this game, manage to get a shot away, but Otamendi's header is swallowed by Gallese. Needed more power to beat the keeper from there.

      Argentina's greatest threat in this game by far has been from set pieces. It amazes me that world class names like Aguero, Higuain, Di Maria and Dybala can't manage to create something from open play.

      VITAL BLOCK! Peru attack with pace again, and Cueva orchestrates a move down the left. A low cross finds its way to Flores on the far side, but his shot was touched around the post by the Man Utd man!

      WIDE OF THE MARK! Tapia has possession about 30 yards from goal and Argentina are slow to close him down. He accepts the invitation to advance and have a go, but he can't test Romero!
