Umejuwake kama ATCL hasn't made any profit since creation kama hesabu zake are not made public?. It's a gov parastatal answerable to Tanzanians via their parliament.

To me ku break even itakuwa ngumu.Ndege zimepaki paki tu wakati zinapaswa kuwa hewani.Mnakumbuka fastjet walibakiwa na ndege moja lakini walikuwa wanasumbua balaa.Hapa kwetu A220 mbili zinatosha kwa operations za Tanzania na Nchi jirani.Yaani ndege za mapropeller labda ingebaki moja .Instead A220-100/200,B737-800MAx ,A220-neo ndio mpango mzima.Halafu ATCL watueleze ndege 5H-MWF ina mwaka wa tatu haijaruka hiyo faida inakujaje ?

Hizo a220 zinapiga kazi sana,daily mwanza..nyinge kilimanjaro..after that moja Entebbe nyingne inaenda lusaka na harare..then nyngne moroni..na jion moja kia znz nyngne mwanza ..ila hii schedule ya domestic inatokana na kwamba 5H TCD imeenda for C check ..ikirud ita cover hizi za mwanza na moroni ..then a220 moja itaanza kwenda Mumbai na Joburg

Idiot.
KQ, like other major airlines (not village flying buses like ATCL), leases a huge part of its fleet. It directly owns 20 and leases another 20.
That way it concentrates on being an airline, not a mechanic garage.
American Airlines alone has leased over 400 planes.
Remember, ATCL is ran by a dictator, and therefore leasing companies cannot dare lease to you. Therefore you are forced to spend education, infrastructure, health and agriculture money to buy expensive planes, as your people go hungry.

KQ started making loss in 2015, before that it used to be profitable , that's why it has assets worth more than $1B which it has acquired over the years...
