Kenyan gospel singer, Alex Apoko, better known by his stage name, Ringtone, has hinted at being the lucky man who will marry Rehema Chalamila alias Ray C.
The Pamela hit-maker got gossip-hungry social media users speculating on their relationship when he uploaded a photo of the Tanzanian singer on his official Instagram page, and captioned it with a cryptic description.
He wrote: "Breaking news: Ray C has accepted to be married to a handsome and rich Kenyan gospel artiste. Congratulations."
This post prompted his followers to guess that he is the man going to tie the knot with Rehema considering he is a Kenyan gospel act, and rich for that matter.
Citizen Digital reached out to Ringtone who refused to confirm if he was speaking about himself in the controversial post.
"I already updated what was on my mind, and wouldn't reveal more than that," said the tight lipped singer.
Asked if the speculations by his fans are true, he said: "The assumptions could be true – the man could be me, I am not denying."
The singer however admitted to have made frequent trips to Tanzania in the recent past, and says he met most of his Tanzanian friends – and Ray C was one of them.
He, however, declined to reveal details of his meeting with the Mama Nitilie diva.
