Let's stop this nonsense of blind patriotism. Simply because you are from Kenya or Tanzania, it doesn't mean you have to support everything that is being peddled by your government. I believe citizens have to be open minded and vigilante at times. Therefore, they have to analyze issues based on the facts and not nationalism. Studies have shown miraa to have addictive and negative effects on the human body. It's no wonder many countries in the West have outlawed them. I believe Kenya ought to borrow a leaf out of the aforementioned countries' book. The welfare of the citizen of the republic should be the number one priority and not a cheap political gain. On the other hand wananchi, have be a careful with politicians who will say and do anything to get elected.
