Your economy is an informal one kijana, kubali yaishe. You can use all the adjectives available in the world to sugarcoat it but the truth will never change. Alafu unasema hakuna fresh produce in supermarkets? Which part of the world do you live in? Step out of Dar is slum ujue yanayoendelea nje ya hicho kijiji chenu. Naivas Supermarket has stores dedicated purely for grocery ( fruits and vegetables) so wewe unaongea kuhusu kitu hujui

On the same note, nearly all the major supermakets in Kenya have fresh produce sections where you can buy anything from a tomato to cabbage to dhania

Lastly, thanks for confirming that malls are for high and middle classes. This only confirms what we've been saying here all along and which you have always disputed - that Nairobi's middle-class is the biggest in the region.

1) Wewe huna unalojua, Malls sell less than 2% perishable goods

2) Almost 90% of fruits must be kept in cold rooms and refregerators for sometime, hence they lose test and freshness

3)95% of meat, chicken and fish are frozen

4)90% of Nairobians can't afford malls, they are forced and other pretend to afford.

Again you are reasoning just like any other bongolala in here. Does it mean that groceries sold outside of malls and supermarkets remain fresh forever? Don't they require some level of freezing to remain fresh for long? Reasoning yako ni ni ya kijinga sana.

Meat, chicken and fish get frozen even in village butcheries, far away from malls and supermarkets so your argument doesn't hold any water.

90% of Nairobisbs can't afford malls? Where did you get this statistics from? And who forces them to use these malls as you imply? If such a big percentage of Nairobiabs can't afford malls, how comes Nairobi has the highest concentration of malls in Sub-Saharan Africa outside SA? What motivates these investors to put up these malls almost everywhere if only 10% of the population can afford them? Do you know something called 'market analysis'?

Hiko kigazeti ndo kitu pekee alichobakiwa nacho kama ngao ya kujikinga unfortunately huwa akipost tunatumia silaha nzito kumpiga hivyo basi hiyo ngao inashindwa kuhimili mapigo ya silaha nzito. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
