So one video about a city in China is a reflection of the whole of China?.. You know why the US is more developed than China, because the development in the US is well distributed all over the 50 states whereas in China once you leave the shiny cities to the rural areas and villages is a different picture. And the US GDP remains higher. But I agree China is catching up fast especially in the forgotten areas but still has some years to catch up to the US overall level. Ask Chinese who still escaping and trying to enter the US illegally for a better life.

I dare you to list all the states those poor towns you are talking about are located. Yes they are poor people in America ( some by lifestyle choice) but no individual state is poor like Tanzania or rural China in terms of wealth. It’s their choice .. due to drug menace ( major issue here). Otherwise there are homeless shelters and other facilities in every city to cater for the needy . There is also a welfare system for the poor to tap into ( free housing, EBT aka food stamps, free medical care aka Medicaid etc) but there are rules and regulations that drug addicts don’t follow hence find themselves kicked out .

It’s their freedom to do it. I hope you don’t think there is no money to develop such places .plus this represents less than 1% of the country. Find out why they choose to live that way. There is a group of white people called the Amish that live in rural areas of heartland America. They don’t use cars , televisions or phones. Find out how many people die every year trying to cross the US borders illegally just to get the opportunity to better their lives and that includes thousaof Chinese caught at border points.
