In Tz people have their own plots na wanawekeza humo only a few ndio wananunua apartments na pili it is even more prudent to build on your own plot than buying a costly apartment. Bei ya apartment moja you can build two modern villas in Tz provided you have your own piece of land and truthfully speaking even me I am not in favour of buying apartments.

good response.. I can understand that point of view, forget the apartments. I’m talking about villas. people could own their land, same case here, doesn’t mean they cannot buy a villa in an estate, not necessary to live in but for investment. Same case to apartments.
In short you are implying that the culture of property buying hasn’t caught up in Daresaalam yet.
now we could argue why, is it just preference or the purchasing power is still a factor.
The fact that you mentioned that it’s expensive to buy an apartment -and it doesn’t make financial sense for you to even consider it, then it shows you that it’s the purchasing power which mwaiofhawaii is talking about.

Endeleeni kutangaza tu sio mbaya.

Ila kwa Tanzania hatutaruhusu single tourist visa hata kidogo. Hivyo waiteni tu watalii waje kunyaland kwa wingi ila mwisho wa siku lazima tapeli atajulikana tu tutakapo wapiga charges upya .

Baada ya hapo watakuwa mabalozi wazuri tu wakirudi kwao. 😂
