BBI process declared unconstitutional by high court

Kenya Courts have done us justice. I was feeling disgusted by this process. I know it meant well for6the country but trying to sneak it without our input was much disrespect By uhuru.
Kudos to the 5 bench judges for the courage to call out the president.
Long live Independent judiciary for being the last island of hope
 
The courts have saved us. The politicians were trying to illegally amend the constitution for their own benefit. They did not even follow the correct procedure of amending the constitution. This was a good judgement. I am currently listening to it, yesterday I did not have the time to listen to it. This is not about politics, this is about the law. Let us follow the law. Whether you are tanga tanga or kieleweke or non political, the law has to be followed.

Look at the three sides of the coin sufficiently before concluding. The rule of law is supreme than political sentiments and promises of "goodies" that never materializes, if law is followed, it becomes an equalizer, in Kenya we are not badly off, though not there yet, but better, even the president must work or make decisions within the dictates of the law. Hapa ni about the principal more than the conduct, it goes a long way.

Hapa ndipo kwa kusifia Kenya ,doctrine of separation of powers imejikita nchini.Bila shaka Uhuru ataheshimu maamuzi ya mahakama. Heko Kenya.

No one is opposing bbi. What all agree that the constitution needs a revision but you can't as an individual determine for us what is suitable.

The people are sovereign and the president can't purport to use his state power to take that what is dear to us, VOTE

Muda tu,watanzania wengi wanataka katiba mpya.
 
That is just a mere ruling of the High Court. Wait until the ennraged bourgeoisies seek their 'fair share & right' from the Supreme Court. ^We noticed and established beyond reasonable doubt that the High Court's ruling was visibly marred by numerous deliberate errors, irregulaties and illegalities^
 
No problem with that, but the next date they get in court for mention is probably in December. Buy the time they are filing for submissions that will be in 2022.
They will have to choose to campaign for bbi or the main election in August.
So this process is dead as a dodo

And how do you suggest that should have been stopped? If not this way
 
Mahakama ya Kenya iko independent na haiogopi mtu yeyote. Hata hio supreme court unayotaja ilibatilisha matokeo ya uchaguzi wa urais wa 2017. Kenya ni nchi ya kwanza kufanya hivyo Africa. Usicheze na mahakama ya Kenya. Lakini hii yote ni matunda ya katiba mpya.
 
Which political sentiments?
If BBI passes it becomes law which must be followed.

Those opposing BBI are the ones giving us political sentiments.
Kwani pesa mashinani itafika aje mashinani. Through promises?

Every county has its own economic activity.
The political sentiment 'Bottom up economy' can never be reality without more money to the grassroots which can only trickle down through devolution.

Devolution should be strengthened and BBI is offering exactly that.
 
What a disgrace. Does that mean that is the end of BBI?
 

The real politicians are very patient and 'visionary' --- by visonary, in this case, I mean an ability to see to it that their goals are achieved even when it means standing forever in their waiting line.
 
Not to mention a further appeal to the supreme court which will take more time.
 


The so-called devolution economics has been in place since time immemorial --- but has actually delivered nothing significant.
