'London Chest Hospital and Bolton Wanderers have confirmed that Fabrice Muamba suffered a cardiac arrest during Saturday's FA'
My take: As I said earlier yesterday that this could be cardiac arrest (https://www.jamiiforums.com/sports/234904-bolton-player-fabrice-muamba-2.html#post3516753) and the first 10 mins were crucial for survival if you get the needed medical response which in most standards he might have got that. Ingekuwa tukio lile limetokea uwanja wa Tiafa saa hizi tunaomboleza. I hope he will pull through but returning to the football playing world is not certain.
Update for Muamba: His heart is now beating on its own for the last two hours
Habari njema!
OMG.... its miraclesMkuu ni habari njema, kwa kuwa his heart now is working on its own, ila nimerekebisha. Ni kuwa ilichukua masaa mawili kuufanya moyo kuanza mapigo, in the other hand his heart was stationary for two hours, in Tanzania that is called 'dead'
OMG.... its miracles
i hope his brains are not severely damaged
Its a miracle, ila jamaa wanavifaa vya hali ya juu sana, walikuwa wanamfanyia Cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) and Defibrillation.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency procedure which is performed in an effort to manually preserve intact brain function until further measures are taken to restore spontaneous blood circulation and breathing in a person in cardiac arrest.
Defibrillation consists of delivering a therapeutic dose of electrical energy to the affected heart with a device called a defibrillator (see photo below)

Vipi bongo hiyo kitu ipo lakini??maana hawa jamaa wataokoa tu maisha ya huyu jamaa, plus club na kocha lazima watakuwa wanajuwa tatizo la huyu dogo
i guess the CPR helped, coz brain hypoxia of any kind is deadly... ubongo uliokosa oxygen ni sawa na vegetable
